Beyond The Dream

The woman in red laughed coldly, her voice bouncing off the stone walls. It was a harsh, heartless sound that sliced through the air. 

"Chosen for what?" Li Na's voice trembled, barely masking her terror.

The woman's laughter faded into a cold, predatory smile behind the mask. "We'll meet again." 

Slowly, she reached out, her fingers grazing over Li Na's hair, the touch deceptively gentle at first. Then, with a sudden, brutal motion, she gripped a handful of Li Na's hair and yanked it back, forcing Li Na to arch her neck painfully against the wooden slab.

Li Na gasped, her eyes widening in shock and pain. She could feel the woman's breath on her face, the proximity suffocating.

The woman leaned in closer, her tone soft but filled with evil delight. "Until next time," she whispered, her voice closing .

Suddenly, everything went black.
