No one knows how it started. Domestic animals began to go wild, reverting to their primal states and lashing out at their owners. Felicia Owens, CDC scientist in Los Angeles, was attacked out of the blue by her cat. Now, Felicia is fighting bouts of irritability, anger, and outright primal rage. When others begin acting in a similar way, Felicia realizes that she needs to figure out what’s going on and how to cure it before it’s too late. Maybe it already is.

Primal Instincts

Over the next few days, there was a significant improvement in the health of Felicia and Brian. They both had more energy, and their skin was starting to scab up and heal. 


Sebastian didn’t even let Felicia leave his apartment so that she could properly rest and heal. 


“Sebastian, there’s no time for this!” Felicia groaned. She was currently seated in his living room, a tablet in her lap. “I don’t have time to just sit around. Now that I’m getting better, we need to find a way to bring down Nickleby, and also make the cure for whoever else needs it.” 


“Felicia, you’ve been burnt out for days.” Sebastian protested. “When we came back here, you slept for almost a whole day.” 


“Well, I’m rested now, so that means it’s time for me to get to work.” 


Sebastian sighed in slight annoyance. “Okay, fine. To be able to actually arrest Nickleby, we have to find something that ties him to all of this, a confession or something like that.”
