Chapter One Hundred -two [The tradition]

When the bus stops, Daniele starts to gather her belongings and looks outside. She looks at Ricky, who appears to be still thinking and says goodbye with a smile. She rushes down the bus's open door, feeling empty as they part ways, no longer waiting for his responses to her questions about his current situation. She goes more quickly while toting her bulky bag pack filled with bread, coffee, and powdered juice for her family.

"When I have time tomorrow, I will only buy groceries and other necessities. We would have enough groceries for supper. I pray that my brief vacation with my sister and her family will be meaningful and that my older sister will stop mumbling and mistreating me the way she used to. I wish that she and her family were at the farm tonight so that I can get some news about the current circumstances within our family members. I have not heard anything about them.
