Past

Jaxon lay in his comfortable twin-size bed, staring up at the ceiling. He couldn't help but think back to the day that changed his lifeforever. It was a typical summer day, he remembered. His family was sitting outside on the lawn enjoying the warm breeze, but everything changed in an instant.

Jaxon was only 8 years old at the time, and he will never forget that day. He had been sound asleep in his bed when he was woken up by a loud noise. He got out of bed and went to see what was happening. That's when he saw a demon standing in his living room.

Jaxon's parents and big brother, Derek, were all there. They were trying to fight off the demon, but it was too powerful. Jaxon watched in horror as the demon killed them all right in front of him.

He remembers how the demon's eyes were cold and lifeless as it looked at him. It didn't show any emotion, not even a hint of remorse for what it had done.

After that day, Jaxon was never the same. He was filled with anger, rage, and a burning desire for revenge. He knew that he had to do something to stop this from happening to anyone else. That's when he decided to become a demon hunter.

It wasn't easy, but Jaxon was determined. He trained himself to fight demons and studied everything he could find about them. He learned their weaknesses and their strengths, and never gave up on his mission.

Years went by, and Jaxon became one of the best demon hunters in the world. He had killed countless demons, and he knew that his family would be proud of him. But even though he had avenged their deaths, he still felt a deep sense of loss.

As Jaxon drifted off to sleep, he remembered his family's smiles and laughter. He remembered how they used to love him and how he used to love them. But most of all, he remembered how they had died. It was a memory that he would never forget, a memory burned into his mind forever.

Jaxon knew that he would never be able to bring his family back, but he could make sure that no one else had to suffer the way he did. He knew that he had to keep fighting and that he had to keep hunting demons, no matter the cost.

In the end, Jaxon knew that he had become the very thing that he was fighting against. He had become a demon, a hunter, and a killer. But he also knew that he was doing the right thing, and that his family would be proud of him.

As Jaxon closed his eyes, he felt a sense of peace wash over him. He knew that his family was watching over him, and that they were proud of the man he had become. And with that thought, Jaxon drifted off to sleep, ready to face another day and another demon.
