Train the Youngster

Jaxon walked into the demon hunter agency, his long black coat swishing behind him as he scanned the room. He saw his boss, Mr.Monroe, sitting at his desk, focused on his computer screen. Mr. Monroe was an older man with salt and pepper hair and a stern expression on his face. Jaxon made his way over to him.

"Good morning, Mr. Monroe," Jaxon said, lightly tapping on the desk to get his boss's attention.

Mr. Monroe looked up and nodded in acknowledgment. "Good morning, Jaxon. What brings you here today?"

Jaxon took a deep breath and said, "I was hoping to get some information on my next assignment."

Mr. Monroe reached for a folder on his desk and handed it over to Jaxon. "You'll be working with a newbie demon hunter this time, Jaxon. A young girl by the name of Emily."

Jaxon raised an eyebrow in surprise. "A young girl? How old is she?"

"She's around the age of 17," Mr. Monroe replied. "But don't let her age fool you, she has a lot of potential. I want you to take her under your wing and show her the ropes. She needs to learn from the best, and that's you."

Jaxon studied the folder in his hands, taking a quick glance at Emily's profile. She was a feisty young girl with a passion for demon hunting. Jaxon knew that he had his work cut out for him.

"Alright, I'll take her on," Jaxon said, nodding his head.

"Good," Mr. Monroe replied. "She'll be arriving here in a few hours. I suggest you get ready to meet her."

Jaxon left the agency, his mind racing with thoughts of his new assignment. He needed to prepare himself for the task ahead. Jaxon went home to gather his gear and weapons. As a seasoned demon hunter, he had a lot of experience dealing with the supernatural. But teaching someone else how to do it was a whole other challenge.

Several hours later, a young girl walked into the agency. Jaxon could tell this was the newbie that he was supposed to train. He watched her as she approached him, her eyes scanning him from head to toe.

"Hi, I'm Emily," she said, extending her hand.

Jaxon shook her hand, his grip firm but gentle. "I'm Jaxon. Welcome to the demon hunter agency."

Emily grinned, excitement brimming in her voice. "I can't wait to get started. I've been looking forward to this for months."

Jaxon smiled, impressed by her enthusiasm. "Well then, let's get started."

The duo walked out of the agency and into the world of demon hunting. Jaxon showed Emily how to detect demons, how to track them, and how to take them down. She was a quick learner, absorbing information like a sponge.

As the days went on, Jaxon and Emily became a formidable team. They worked well together, with Jaxon teaching Emily everything he knew. He was patient with her, taking the time to explain things step by step.

On one particular mission, they were hunting a high-level demon that had been terrorizing a small town. Jaxon and Emily had tracked it down to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. They crept into the building, weapons at the ready.

Jaxon could feel the demon's presence getting stronger as they made their way deeper into the warehouse. Suddenly, the demon appeared before them, a towering, monstrous figure with razor-sharp teeth and claws.

Jaxon and Emily fought the demon with all of their might, their weapons slicing through the air. The battle was intense, lasting for what felt like hours. But in the end, they emerged victorious. The demon lay defeated at their feet.

Jaxon watched as Emily breathed heavily, her eyes shining with adrenaline. He couldn't help but feel proud of her. She had come a long way since their first training session.

"You did great, Emily," Jaxon said, patting her on the back.

Emily grinned, her cheeks flushed with excitement. "Thanks, Jaxon. I couldn't have done it without you."

Jaxon smiled, grateful for the opportunity to train such a talented young hunter. Emily had a bright future ahead of her in demon hunting, and Jaxon knew that she was destined for great things.
