Ambivalence

Feeling the softness of his aunt's body in intimate contact with his own, Elmer quickly withdrew his hands from Elizabeth's and pressed the pause button before standing up. When he saw something he shouldn't have, Elmer felt a rush of heat throughout his body. He quickly bent down to pick up the blanket from the floor and wrapped Elizabeth's delicate body in it, saying, "Auntie, you're drunk again. Fortunately, it was your nephew who saw you. It wouldn't be good if a stranger saw you."

Elizabeth yawned and, feeling a bit unsteady on her feet, leaned on Elmer's chest. Her disheveled long hair fell on Elmer's face, and she coughed, apparently feeling uncomfortable. It was probably the result of her drinking. She tilted her head and looked at Elmer, whispering, "I know, it's not my first time getting drunk. I know more about this than you do. I'm much more cunning than you, hehe. Oh, nephew, it's been a few days, and you look even more handsome."

After speaking, Elizabeth, who was affected by alcohol, raised her head and kissed Elmer on the cheek.

Elmer was stunned for a moment. He smelled the alcohol and seemed to be a little drunk himself, but what really made him intoxicated was Elizabeth's neck. He seemed to see the blood flowing under her skin, and the impulse to drink blood caused his fangs to slowly grow. After being tempted by blood many times, Elmer was having trouble controlling himself. He didn't want to admit that he was craving blood like a vampire, but that was the truth. His reason was no longer able to control his body, so he slowly opened his mouth, ready to bite two holes in Elizabeth's neck and drink her blood.

As he leaned down, ready to bite her, Elmer's door was suddenly pushed open.

"Elmer!"

As soon as he heard his sister Rita's voice, Elmer became very depressed. He was now holding Elizabeth and making very ambiguous movements. Anyone would think he was trying to molest Elizabeth, but in fact, Elmer was only interested in Elizabeth's blood, not her body. This theory might be plausible if he explained it to his mother, but it wouldn't work with Rita.

"Aunt, let me help you to bed first," said Elmer. Ignoring Rita, who was giving him an angry look, he carefully helped his drunken Elizabeth to bed.

Since last year, Elizabeth had a habit of coming over to Elmer's house and climbing into his bed to sleep whenever she got drunk. Several times, Elmer had to sleep on the sofa in the living room. Since Elizabeth had a key to Elmer's house, he often found out about her presence after the fact. One time, he even crawled into bed before realizing that Elizabeth was already there. Although Elizabeth and Elmer's mother were identical twins, Elmer never mistook them. He could always tell Elizabeth apart by the scorpion tattoo on her arm, and by the fact that his mother never drank. Whenever he smelled alcohol, he knew it was his aunt Elizabeth.

After helping Aunt Elizabeth lie down, Elmer had to face his sister, who had a terrible temper. Rita walked over and tried to grab Elmer's ear, but he was already on guard when he heard her footsteps. Seeing Rita's fierce expression, Elmer pushed away her hand as she reached for his ear, pointed at Elizabeth, who was sleeping with her head covered, and then pointed to the door. Understanding his meaning, Rita glared at Elmer and left, intending to make him come out and apologize on his own.

Looking at Elizabeth, who was sleeping soundly, Elmer licked his lips as if he really wanted to drink blood. Unfortunately, his sister always prevented him from doing so. He sighed helplessly and walked out to confront his sister.

Closing the door behind him as stealthily as a ghost, vampire Lillian quietly opened the window and slipped into Elmer's room. Her footsteps were so light that she seemed weightless. She looked at Elizabeth, shook her head, and then leaned against the door to listen to the commotion outside and monitor Elizabeth.

"What do you want? You've gone after Mom, then me, and now Aunt. Have you turned into a beast?" Rita grumbled angrily.

Elmer was used to his temperamental older sister Rita. He shook his head and said, "Anyway, a lot of things are just coincidences, like the idols you love to watch in those dramas. They're just machines moving under the author's pen."

"But this is reality, and you're not a machine. Don't talk to sis in that sentimental tone. Tell me, have you been watching things you shouldn't, like erotic novels or something?" Rita said confidently, her eyes showing Elmer's helpless expression.

Elmer was a man, and as a man, he would browse through those kinds of things. He rarely watched videos, as they were too direct. He preferred reading novels. As for whether it was normal to read such books, Elmer had considered the question before and had come to the conclusion that it was perfectly normal. After all, he was a man, not a monk. Some of those who became monks even got married! However, now that his sister was asking him, he had to pretend to be innocent. He couldn't admit that he had read such books, or he might get beaten up by his sister. His beautiful sister was an expert in violence, and if he wasn't careful, he might end up losing a limb or two.

"Sis, I'm serious. I don't read those things. You can rest assured. Let's just say it's my fault this time, and I'll take you out for steak another day. You don't have to keep complaining, okay? Mom is still sleeping," Elmer said. Then he asked, "What about little sis?"

"Little sis is taking a nap. Don't change the subject. Tell me, what kind of steak are you going to treat me to?" Rita seemed more interested in steak than in torturing Elmer.

Many times, Elmer had to use food to deal with his sister.

"Fifty dollars per serving. Are you satisfied now? That's my weekly allowance," Elmer said with a helpless smile.

"OK, I'll give you credit for being honest. That kind of thing definitely can't happen again. If someone else saw it, they might think our family is doing something inappropriate! Alright, I'll go check on Mom. She doesn't seem to be feeling well today, she's been sleeping for a while."

With that, Rita narrowed her eyes and walked towards Mom's room, looking quite satisfied.

Elmer let out a long sigh and prepared to take a nap on the couch. After all, he couldn't go back to his room and sleeping on the couch was safer.

Just when Elmer thought he could sleep peacefully, he suddenly heard his sister's scream coming from Mom's room. Elmer was startled and immediately ran towards Mom's room.
