"Brother, what is that thing?" Nydia suddenly walked in. Elmer thought to himself that he had forgotten to lock the door.
Nydia had already sneaked up to the edge of the bed, while Elmer remained frozen in place. In his trembling hands, Eva had quieted down a bit but was still moving, fluttering its wings as it looked at Nydia, displaying a surprising degree of intimacy. Nydia looked at the little elf floating in front of her with a radiant smile, her hands clasped together, and said, "Elf, come sit on my hand, don't fly, you must be tired."
"Squeak," Eva stood on Nydia's hand, looking excitedly at Nydia. It seemed like it had never seen such a creature before.
"Brother, can I have your elf?" Nydia asked.
"Not for now."
"Why?" Nydia pouted, muttering, "What would a big guy like you do with such a pretty elf? It should belong to me."
"It's not an ordinary elf, Nydia. It can bite people!" Elmer warned.
