"This is a troublesome issue; I've never encountered someone like her before," Eleanor shrugged. "Let's put it aside for today. We can figure it out tomorrow during the day. Her defenses are too high today."

"Suit yourself. We are in the same boat, but I hope sometimes you can be more ruthless. After all, our goal is still far away. I don't want any trouble at this critical juncture. I hope you exercise restraint. Anyway, I'll go back to discuss with them," Elmer said.

"It seems like you're more invested than I am," Elmer laughed.

Eleanor turned and smiled, "I think happiness is more important than life itself. That's what I've been told."

Elmer was stunned. After Eleanor closed the door, he muttered, "She's more formidable than I imagined. She's even managed to influence demons. I should ask her how she did it. If I could influence Eleanor, it would be much easier to bring her down."
