CHAPTER 3

"Don't you use daggers".Mato asked Harry as soon as he brought out his sheathed sword.

The sword was for powerful mages not just any any mage but then Mato noticed that Harry kept looking into distance. Suddenly, shouts of thief were heard.Harry ran towards the direction of the sound and Mato followed but Percy stayed.

"If you're not going to be relevant it's better you back out".Harry said.

Then she followed them,Harry kept moving until he saw a silhouette in a distance. Mato moved forward just then it disappeared. Meanwhile, Harry went behind a tree and suddenly voices of iron slashes could be heard. Mato ran there, a muffled cry followed it then no voice was heard. Harry was trying to breathe Mato just walked up to him but Harry was sweating profusely.

"I injured her".Harry said.

"Who was that?".Mato asked. Harry stood up looking unbothered as if he changed his mind.

"Percy give me your bow and arrow".he put a piece of cloth on it which Percy saw while Mato didn't then he shot it. A loud shriek was heard.

"We will see when you're healed".Harry shot another arrow this time it was a cry that resonated in the whole forest. Percy started the summoning process and a brown wolf with black patches came forward though it was still a cub,it was the forest king. Harry activated his charming aura which attracted people to him but it was mainly for the cub.

"Do you want me to heal you".Harry asked and the cub whined. a mellow was heard followed by another one then series of it were heard and finally the cub was healed.

"Follow me,you always want to repay kindness don't you?".he asked.

The cub waited for a while then suddenly it started howling and crying it looks like it was communicating with his pack.After a long while he started walking towards the city and Harry, Percy and Mato followed the cub. Mato was scared, he kept thinking about different things, his thoughts were all over the place he reminisced on what happened earlier.

Harry can hear things that are far away, he can predict where people are at first when it happened with Percy,Mato felt it was because Harry didn't hear her footsteps but it happened again with the thief again, he shoots arrow precisely, he can attract people to him, he can talk to animals while his sister can summon them and he's a healer but that doesn't matter what matters is the fact that he knew the thief yet he shot the arrow despite the fact that he was bothered about wounding her so he said and right now he's following a cub with no fear of being killed.Harry's power even surpassed his own right now.

As they got to the city gates, people started paving way for them suddenly Harry looked up and saw his long time crush Amanda.

"Amanda, how are you doing".Harry called out and waved at her while she held her waist and flinched then suddenly looked down.

That didn't go unnoticed by Harry the question was why she did it.she could have asked him for anything but she didn't, she went ahead to steal and left injured and he could also see the wound on her knee.she was touching it with the healing scarf he shot at her when she noticed that he was staring at her. she smiled.

"Prince Harry I'm fine".she replied.

"You don't look fine".he said. Amanda Knew that he recognized her that was why he sent the healing scarf but she didn't want bring him into this,he already did enough.

"We'll see again".he said and flashed her a charming smile.

The smile she fell in love with even before falling in love with his kind gesture. she bowed and fell on the balcony of the room.she met him when she was ten,she couldn't predict his age but doesn't look much older than her.she followed her dad to a war and he followed his dad and they fought beside each other. it was her first war.

His skills had impressed her but when she got to know that he was a prince she started distancing herself away from him.she knew her father the minister of war won't let her do it.He kept saying that he can't let his daughter become a widow at an early stage in life but she doesn't see anything wrong with that even her mom doesn't but her dad makes the final decision.

"Why did you save her,I know it was Amanda".Percy said as soon as they entered the palace. Harry didn't reply but continued to walk away.

"Do you want me to tell dad".she shouted then he walked back squatted in front of her and adjusted the strands of her hair.

"She has a reason, if you tell his Highness, he'll look for a way to imprison her and the minister of war won't be too happy with that. Do you want war in the palace and also, I love her and I'll feel bad if..."Percy suddenly cut in.

"What?does that even make any sense to you?wow!you love her".Percy laughed."You can't, Harry you know you can't right, think it over.Mato is here".

Harry stood up and started moving to the palace court with the cub.The guards started whispering when they saw him and the cub.

"Your Highness".Harry said as he walked into the palace court. king Hermes was shocked to his bone marrow when he saw the cub.

"Harry,why would you bring a cub into the palace".Hermes asked trying to keep his anger at bay.

"You don't need to be scared your Highness, it will be my pet".Harry replied nonchalantly. Elora looked from the cub to Harry then back to the cub.

"Harry, please return the cub it will harm you when it grows up".

"Oh mom!you know I won't listen to you this time".Harry bowed and left the palace court. Mato smiled awkwardly then left with Harry.Percy stayed and went to sit with her mother.
