Liana and Greg

The group set off once again on their journey, all maintaining silence. Belle tried his best to divert his attention from listening to what was on people's minds. He really appreciated telepathy as an ability that couldn't hurt others. However, he couldn't help but wonder what would happen if telepathy could harm others. It was his only power, one that he couldn't even stop using when he wanted to.

As thoughts flooded into Belle's brain, his mind picked up on one thought directed at him. Hearing it, Belle turned to look at the person who had it. His eyes met with Liana's, and it seemed like she had been looking at him for a while. Seeing him looking at her, Liana, who had been observing him from the carriage, immediately looked away, brushing off the situation.

"Did he hear what's on my mind?" Liana asked herself. She had been thinking about what would happen if Belle suddenly turned to look at her and reveal his cute face, and he had done just that. "Brushing this much, you should be older than him, you know. Just look at him; he seems ten while you are fourteen," Greg, who had been sitting across from his sister, replied nonchalantly.

"What are you talking about?" Liana asked, feigning ignorance.

"You've been looking at him for almost an hour, a characteristic of a typical girl pervert. I won't be surprised if I hear that you've already undressed him with your eyes. Thank God you don't have such a power," Greg said.

"I was only taking in the scenery. I wasn't looking at him. It's only your dirty mind making things up," Liana said, blushing a bit.

"Guess the scenery ends with him then," Greg teased.

"I regret having you as my twin brother," Liana retorted.

"It's fine. After always beating me up, at least I have something to make fun of you with to make me happy. I didn't know you were like this. Last night, you were completely lost, not saying a single word but just staring at him, turning red, and then looking away," Greg continued, mocking her.

Thump! A loud sound was heard as Liana marched on Greg's foot, almost crushing it.

"Going back to beat up your twin brother after fangirling. Yeah, that's Liana for you," Greg cried out, managing to calm down as he stretched his hands, healing his almost crushed feet. His power came in handy, as he wouldn't have survived Liana's wrath up until now if he couldn't heal himself after getting beaten up.

As the journey continued, Belle couldn't shake off the feeling that Liana had been watching him in secret. Her occasional glances and blushing cheeks were hard to ignore. He found himself wondering if she truly had a crush on him or if his mind was simply playing tricks on him. The thought perplexed him, and he decided it was best not to dwell on it too much.

Meanwhile, the group reached a picturesque spot near a flowing river. They decided to take a short break and enjoy the beauty of nature surrounding them.

"We will be in the city within the next 2 hrs, we should take a rest before we continue," the man that met Belle yesterday for questioning said, as he dismounted his horse, seriously not knowing that humans don't fully embrace technology and cars due to the dangers they pose.

Belle walked away from the group, finding solace in the sound of the water cascading over the rocks. Lost in his own thoughts, he decided to take notes of all his powers since he had never done that before. Telekinesis, Telepathy, Transformation, Time Manipulation, Technopathy, Transmutation, Teleportation, Thought Projection, Thermal Manipulation, Truth Perception, and Sonic Scream SS. "A lot of powers that are all useless," Belle thought to himself, still deep in thought without knowing when Greg approached him.

"Do you have a place to stay when you enter the city? The academy acceptance exam won't start immediately, but in the next five days," Greg said, calling Belle back from his thinking.

"Yes," Belle scribbled on his book and showed it to him, even though he didn't have a place to stay. He didn't want to get too close to people.

"Okay, I thought you didn't. My dad has a place here; it could've accommodated us all even if we were a hundred," Greg said.

"Okay, thanks for looking out though," Belle scribbled and showed Greg.

"It is nothing much," Greg said before returning to where the rest of the group was.

After some time resting, the group continued the journey once again as they soon approached the city more and more.

"We have a lot of thanks to give the Defendant for always steady hunting monsters. I can't still believe we traveled this far without any attacks from beasts," the Butler said with a wide smile as they saw the city gate.

"The Defendant surely clears the walkable path from beasts every now and then. Besides, more beasts are seen entering spatial zones, making it safer these days. Just like humans, they seem to have found the unending benefits that come with spatial zones, despite the dangers," the man who had questioned Belle said.

"And what is that?" the Butler asked.

"I'm sorry, I can't say. It's not meant to be made public knowledge. Anyway, we are already at the city. What I owe their father is already done. We will be going our separate ways once we cross the walls," though the world had come together to become one, every city and county was still guarded with their own walls.

"Okay," the Butler said. It was truly a peaceful journey.

Creak! The Sound of the Gate Being mechanically opened rang out as the gate opened up to welcome the group after a few scrutiny from the eyes of the people standing above the wall.

"guess we will be say our goodbye here, sorry for my sister not being able to send you off, we will meet at the academy though," Greg who at some point has dismounted from the carriage said.

"okay, thanks for your hospitality" Belle quickly scribbled before turning to leave.

Will be sure looking forward to seeing you at the academy exam "Greg said to Belle who was already leaving as Belle raised his hand to confirm he will be there why leaving.
