"The brightest light casts the darkest shadow"
Eirin lived her life in the shadows of her precious friend, but she soon fell into deep chaos after she stumbled upon a humanoid that tried to take her life without an ounce of hesitation. She was saved by a group of people who wielded unknown abilities, and the moment she woke up, it all felt like a nightmare.
Just when she thought she had escaped death, the people who saved her are now the ones after her life. Misfortunes started going her way, and creatures unknown to her appeared one by one, taking the most precious person away from her and leaving Eirin in despair.
Secrets started unfolding, and the monster Eirin sought for so long was not the one she expected them to be.
Shameless author review! I honestly enjoy writing this and I really want to finish this. I can't explain how fond I am of fantasy romance stories and enemies to lovers to boot! I know that I am still lacking in some areas which is why I appreciate honest criticisms that could help me improve. Thank you! I hope you all can enjoy this like how I do 。◕‿◕。
I am captivated by this book with only 10 chapters. Every chapter has those elements that trigger a person's curiosity and excitement. Definitely a good read. When's the next update?
I fell in love with this book from the first chapter itself! The descriptions you use are so vivid! Makes me feel a little insecure about my own novel, lol. Good work! I already sympathize with the girl!
I am drawn to the story, and it has a few very intriguing points. The way the characters are introduced mysteriously, I love that. The pacing is nice, and the two sides of the story are woven well together. The few things that I think could have been done better are the character description and the world-building. I cannot imagine the character's appearance completely, preventing me from relating with them. The same goes for the world. I hope the author gives more details in the future.

Interesting synopsis. I'll wait for more chapters before reading again. [img=recommend]
I genuinely love the concept behind this, and the story in general. Everything is great about this book. The reason for the 4-stars instead of 5, however, is the author's lack of proper punctuation.
Immersive and a fun read. As expected of the author, she knows how to write a very dark story and will keep you curious about what's gonna happen next. Need new chapters! [img=recommend]
This is one of the best fantasy novels I've read. It's only a few chapters but I hooked. It's dark and exciting and I can't wait to follow Eirin on more chapters. I love it!
Incredible book! First of all the grammar is on point, the setting and character progression are just immersive, I couldn't stop reading. Keep it up!
An extremely powerful story, This theme, which has implications far beyond and is written and described beautifully with freshness, intensity and power. It’s a captivating debut and worth your reading time.
The fantasy lore in this novel is absolutely fantastic. The author made an amazing world with mythical creatures and detailed magic systems. The depth of detail in the lore adds a whole new layer of immersion to the story. If you crave an epic fantasy romance with beautifully crafted lore, you should not miss this!
I absolutely loved this! The author's vivid descriptions painted such a magical world. The plot twists kept me on the edge of my seat, and the characters were so well-developed that I felt a genuine connection to them. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a captivating fantasy read!
Mindblowing, I didn't find any grammatical mistake, and writing quality is so admirable that I salute the author. Character is lovable and relatable, not to me though. (*_*) I am so naive. I have a lot to learn and this piece of art is a good choice.
I was in another world of mystery. At first I couldn't grasp what exactly was happening until a bit later. From one scene to another and then another... sometimes I begin to wonder if all these creatures really do exist because of how authors create them... fascinating 🤌 I can only hope for Eirin's safety because the people after her aren't ordinary and it's very frightful to be in such a situation.
