CHAPTER TWELVE

I NEED YOUR BEST HANDS

Stacy got to her father's Mansion. She went in and met her father at the door.

"Hey Dad"

"Jellybean" they gave each other kisses on the cheek but her father kissed her forehead. "How are you princess?"

"Dad I wouldn't say I'm good or not good"

"Come on in" they went inside and sat, the butler approaches them

"What can I get for you Sir and ma'am?"

"Just wine"

"And water" he nods and left to get the wine and water.

"What is the problem jellybean?"

"I need your best hands"

"What happened?"

"I found the killer of William James and you won't believe it if I tell you"

"Really?"

"His daughter, Lucy"

"I don't believe it" he is shocked by her statement

"Told you so" she smirked

"Why?"

"That's why I'm here. I need to find her to get that answer but she's on the run"

"On the run?" She opened her phone and showed him Lucy's message "what?"

"Yes Dad" he picks up his phone and called someone telling him what to do. He hungs up

"She will be found" Stacy smiles. She knows that her father's team are the best at tracking people down. They almost tracked her down when he was looking for her but didn't because she changed her identity in a way that no one would even suspect a thing. Sadly the hacker that helped her with hiding her identity is no way to be found. She couldn't even contact her.

"Thank—" her phone began to ring. Seeing it's Abraham a broad smile spread on her face and her father saw it. She picks up

"Maya Alex is here" she stood up abruptly

"Thank you Daddy. I love you, bye" she kisses him "I have to go now, something came up" she took another sip from her glass of wine before rushing out. "I'm on my way" she hung up.

Minutes later she got to the office. She parked her car, got down and rushed inside. She made her way to where Maya was sitted.

"Hello Maya" the girl began to sob. Stacy being touched by her sob went to comfort her. "How are you dear?"

"She wanted to kill me but changed her mind"

"Who?"

"Her voice recording is in my phone, I can show you if I get my cell" Stacy told Abraham to get the phone. Maya played the voice recording after she was given the phone

"Is she the one who kidnapped you?"

"Yes and she is also the killer of JJ"

"Thank you Maya. I promise nothing will happen to you under my care" she turns to Abraham "instruct them to take her home" Abraham nods and leaves with Maya.

After they left, Stacy heaved. She has a witness and evidence. All that is remaining to close this case is Lucy James.

Stacy isn't fully satisfied but she is happy. She just needs to find Lucy.

They closed for the day's work and headed to Abraham's apartment. He promised her dinner.

"Welcome" he said as they got to his living room

"Thank you" she said. Not that she hasn't been here before. She sat down on the sofa, removed her heels and relaxed. It's been a long day, a very long one.

Abraham came back to the living room "your water is ready. Go take a shower" her face looked pleased but also looked like it wants something else. Abraham laughed and said "the bathtub is filled, go take a dip" How did he know? She wonders. She smiles cheerfully and cheekily, making her way to the restroom. She go there and stripped off her clothes, climbing in the bathtub, she exhaled and relaxed. This is just what she needs and Abraham knew. That gave her joy. He knew...he always knows.

For long thirty to forty minutes she was in the bathtub relaxing and nearly fell asleep.

"Food is ready" Abraham said from outside the restroom

"Give me few minutes" she stood and rinsed her body before going out to the bedroom. Already he had some clothes on the bed prepared for her and a fulfilled smile cripped its way to her face. He's a darling. She dressed up in his clothes and heads to the kitchen. When he saw her he had the same fulfilled smile. She looks good in his clothes and seeing her wear them without complain is even more better.

Her nipples were pecking out through the fabric and Abraham noticed, swallowing hard. But she didn't seem to not know what is happening.

They ate till they were filled. Abraham being a MasterChef makes it hard for anyone to eat little. They always eat till they are filled to the brim and no other space left to be occupied by food in their stomach.

After that lovely dinner, they sat on the sofa but Abraham shocked her by laying his head on her laps. She was a little taken aback but she isn't complaining at all. She liked it actually. She played with his hair while they discussed about the case. This is so intimate. I think they will...but they didn't. Abraham fell asleep on her laps and she woke him

"Let's go to bed" she said while he stretched out and followed her to the bedroom. What?! Nothing happened!

It's a beautiful morning with the most beautiful people in it. Stacy and Abraham were still fast asleep. With Abraham holding her in his arms. Isn't That Cute? They are cuddling in their sleep.

Some minutes later, Stacy woke up from her slumber. She yarned and even though she slept all night she didn't want to get out of bed. She turns her face towards Abraham, wow he's even more handsome while sleeping. She admires the handsome man's face in front of her. His well shaped face, sharp pointed nose, ruffled hair, and most of all his lips. Those lips are so tempting and it's taking everything in Stacy to not kiss him so badly. She swallows, 'what am I doing?' she thought. But she couldn't move from her spot. Apart from his strong grip on her as if though she do be taken away from him, she is mesmerized. What a well sculptured beauty. While she is still busy analysing his features, a per of bright, sparkling eyes opened looking at her in the most attractive way.

"You should kiss me already you know" Abraham grunted with his morning face. Stacy hid her face in embarrassment and smiled to herself. Truly she wanted to kiss him so badly

"I didn't mean any of that" she manages to say, trying to defend herself.

"Really? Did I see wrong?" He teased. She tried to wriggle out of his hold but he didn't bulge. He pinned her down and hovered all over her. "So say you don't want to kiss me again I dare you" Stacy became mute. Our almighty smart Stacy David didn't utter any word again. "I thought as much" he smirked evilly but Stacy even in that state thinks it's adorable.

He kisses her forehead "good morning beautiful" she blushes, saying nothing.

The playful air changed to a romantic one. The tension could be felt between them. She didn't move neither did he. They stared into each other's eyes like it's the first time they've ever met. He leans close and she leans close, they repeated this till they were just 1cm to their lips touching...waiiiit forrr ittt...her phone rang, arghh who dare to spoil this beautiful moment...arrrgh God. They were finally going to...

They coughed and she stood up to take her phone. It's her Dad...oh he's the only one I think that can dare.

"Good morning Daddy"

"Jelly bean. I found something. Come the house"

"Okay Daddy. On my way" she hung up. She tries to leave the bed but was tackled down again.

"So your old man is the one who disrupted my intimate moment?" He asked with an evil smirk yet not too funny voice. Stacy chuckles

"You weren't fast enough" she turns them over and ran into the restroom laughing.

"I will get you" he tells her.

"Go shower we have to go meet Dad!" she shouts from the inside of the bathroom

"You mean my father in-law!" he flirts. Stacy blushed so hard that her face turned red. 'He is flirting with me' she thought. Where did this new Abraham come from?

They finished up and left his apartment hand in hand. What?! I think it's really a beautiful morning after all.

After minutes of driving, they pulled up at the David Mansion. They stepped out and the door opened before they could knock.

"Jelly bean" he kisses her forehead and cheeks

"Daddy" she kisses his cheeks. She turns to Abraham and introduced "Daddy meet Abraham Jesse, my friend and partner" the two men shook hands

"Nice to meet you sir"

"The pleasure is all mine" the Mayor turns leading them inside and Abraham whispered to Stacy

"Partner huh? I love that" Stacy's face turned to tomato sauce. It's that partner and not the other partner...you know

He led them to the dinning table. "Let's have breakfast" they nodded and sat down while the servants did their job. They ate with comfortable silence. Abraham doing his own thing which inturn makes Stacy blush or clear her throat.

Yesterday Abraham decided it's time to do what he should have done a long time ago. That's why we have

a new flirting and naughty Abraham this morning.

They finished their breakfast and moved to the living room.

Stacy spoke up first "Daddy, anything at all?"

"Yes princess. But not much" he calls his butler to get the file from his room. Seconds later the butler came back with a cream coloured file and hands it over to Stacy. "She is a hacker. A very professional one. She has hid everything about herself so well. She is in a secluded area in the City and you and your team will have to search that area to know if you can find anything"

"Thank you Daddy. I appreciate" she said in gratitude. She knew Daddy could help

"It's nothing princess. If you ever need anything, ask right away, okay jellybean?"

"Okay Daddy. Thank you" they stood up and he saw them off. Stacy is happy and they made their way to the office.

Stacy opened the file to see the same address where they found Maya's phone. She recruited the team and they head off.

In the old abandoned cottage, nothing could be heard. No sound, nothing. They searched and searched but found nothing. Nothing at all. A call came in that another victim has been murdered. Again?!
