Extra 03 Hide and Seek

"Mother! Kristen hid my sword, again!"

The cries of a teenager shouting for help reverberated throughout the mansion.

Two servants followed the running boy as he tried to find his mother in the numerous rooms of the mansion, in which they failed to follow miserably.

Fortunately, he spotted his mother leaving the terrace.

"Mother! Ask Kristen to give me back my sword! I need to go into the dungeon with my party today!" the boy, eager to find his treasured sword, whined like a kid in front of his beloved mother.

The woman with strange white hair sighed as she listened to her son's whining.

With a deep breath, she tried to calm herself before shouting.

"Kristen! Come here right this instant!"

At the moment she shouted that, a vibration happened in the spot a few feet away from the two before a girl with dark hair and white highlights appeared, holding a wooden staff.

"Kristen! Give me back my sword!" Upon seeing the girl, the boy immediately pounced on the girl, which ended quite miserably. After all, the girl already foresaw that this would happen, thus, she teleported away in an instant.

"Our twins are still as energetic as ever," another woman appeared behind the white-haired woman, before hugging from the back.

"Where's Haniel, Raja?" The woman frowned, upon noticing that Raja returned by herself.

"Youngest is still in the Palace, learning how to control her transformation. When she manages to reach the intermediate level, she can join us here in Astra," Raja explained, still cuddling her wife from the back and heeding no attention to the quarreling twins.

"Mom! You're here! How's Haniel?" the boy noticed their parents cuddling all by themselves in the corner. Feeling a bit jealous, he jumped to disturb them of their sweet time.

"Haniel's at the palace, controlling her abilities. Stop disturbing our parents. Do you want your sword, or not?" Kristen provoked her brother, Lance, when she saw that he disturbed their parents.

As the eldest and the ambassador of goodwill, she is willing to sacrifice herself in order to see more of their parents loving time. It might also result in a few more siblings, which she gladly welcomes. It adds more kin to play pranks on.

Kristen licked her lips in anticipation while glancing at her mother's belly.

Mirabelle strangely felt chills up her spine.

'Is someone targeting me?' she looked around which confused Raja who's hugging her.

"You goody-two-shoes! Give me back my sword!" as a single-minded demon who loved strength the most, Lance forgot about his jealousy for a moment and started chasing after his sister Kristen once again.

"Kids, try not to break anything in the mansion. Or we won't let you follow in the next vacation spot," Raja lightly warned before lifting Mira off her feet and run towards the nearest bedroom.

Mira flushed while trying to 'lightly' break free from Raja's clutches.

"Raja! Drop me down!"

Cries like that one echoed throughout the hallways before they disappeared at one point. Let us suppose that Raja managed to successfully find an empty bedroom.

Seeing that their parents are no longer around, Kristen stopped teleporting before giggling to herself.

"Hey, goody-two-shoes, give me back my sword, now," looks like Lance is already at the limit of his patience. He looks calm, but he's trying to hold back from throwing a vase to Kristen's way.

After all, if he did violate the order of their mom, then their mom would definitely exclude Lance from the next world.

"Chill, brother. Everything already went as I planned. I have no need to hold your sword as hostage anymore," Kristen threw Lance's sword from her spatial bracelet, one that Raja personally crafted for her, worth quite a few billions in the currency of this world.

"Tsk. You're still as greedy as ever," Lance's fire went out on the spot when he got a hold of his sword, before wiping it with a piece of cloth he got from somewhere, intending to do maintenance work before heading off to the dungeon.

"Aren't you the same? You also want another sibling, because that'll make you safe from my grasps," Kristen licked her lips while smiling mischievously at her twin brother who looked disgusted at her words.

"And besides, you acted quite well for a no-brainer brute, brother," Kristen complemented her brother who paused his wiping actions before awkwardly laughing and scratching his head.

"Ahaha, right, acting. I forgot. I was referring to you being greedy for my treasured sword, not for having more siblings."

"Is the Sin of Wrath affecting even the tiniest of braincells in your head?" Kristen almost facepalmed at this brother of hers.

Fixing the pointed hat over her head, Kristen sighed before looking at the running servants who finally managed to catch up with their young master.

"Young lady," they greeted her with a bow before shifting to Lance's behind to act as shadows.

Kristen nodded slightly before turning to Lance once again.

"Once you're back from exploring dungeons, make sure to get a feel over Mother's mana circuitry to see if there's another life in her belly. Meanwhile, I'll be holding the initiation of our dearest little Haniel. It'll be fun," Lance visibly shook when he heard his twin sister mention something scary with a sweet face that looks similar to their mother.

Kristen then disappeared to their mom's Palace in the Abyssal Planes to visit their youngest sister.

And Lance can only murmur to himself while looking at the place where Kristen disappeared.

"I hope Haniel survives."

In the depths of the Palace, a little bun can be seen lazing around being served by countless demon servants.

"Young miss, the monarch ordered you to practice transforming. Please focus," servants were encouraging the already lethargic child.

"Uhmm, no, I, want, to sleep, more~" the child, with her sleepy eyes, slowly said.

In her sleepy little world, the little demon suddenly felt like that her existence is being threatened, which made her burst with potential.

Snapping her eyes wide awake, Haniel instinctively transformed into a black bat and flew to the ceiling, avoiding the gazes of the servants down below.

And this little action saved the cute lazy demon from the actions of a certain greedy-for-a-sibling demoness.

"Little Haniel~ Where are you?" the creepy whispers of the devil made its way to Haniel's sleepy ears.

The servants already ran away at the first sight of Kristen's arrival.

Thus, a game of hide and seek between siblings ensued in the Palace of the Abyssal Plane's Monarch.
