Some things never changed

It was impossible, but Dragon heard what he heard. He had seen what he had seen, and there was no mistaking it. No matter how ridiculous and incomprehensible it was, denying it would only put him at a disadvantage. 

After his short meeting with Ram, Dragon sent him away. He had nothing else to tell him. He said what he wanted to say, and it was up to Ram if he would give him Heaven's head. Ram could do whatever he pleased unless he didn't want Hera's safety anymore. 

"Hah…" Dragon sat down on the chair, taking deep and long breaths after making his way to where he kept Hera. Looking at the unconscious woman on the bed, a short and airy laugh of mockery escaped him. 

"Even after death… you don't fail to mock me," he muttered, wincing as his injuries were still fresh. "How dare you…?"
