Chapter XIX: The Infiltration of Folksteadheim [1]

THE RED ORB of summer beamed its bright light upon the vibrant castle town of Folksteadheim, seat of power to the Lord of Falmundth, Baron Frenzell. The town square was bustling with arms dealer merchants and soldiers, managing fresh recruits who all made a lengthy stretch of line. Adjacent to the notice board erected on the middle of the town square was a long bench where three men were seated. There was the bulky physique of Falmundth's Lord General, the lanky figure of the castle's Lord Chamberlain, and the stocky frame of the Barony's Lord Treasurer, accompanied by a swarm of clerks and soldiers to help in the administrative process of enlisting yeomen, serfs and peasants to Baron Frenzell's army.
