"I want to have a D.N.A. test" I blurted out. Everyone in the room became quiet and I looked up to see how shocked Finn was by my request and stopped what he was doing to stare at me. I was shocked myself, I didn't know why I asked for it but I needed to make sense of what was happening.

"Huh?" He looked confused. I sat up and brought my legs down. I was crying too much and my chest was hurting me. I was scared it might explode.

"I want to have a D.N.A. tes...."

"No! You are not getting anything done. Can't you see? They are lying! All of them. My mum, your dad, they are all lying! You and I are going home and getting married!" He yelled hysterically while pacing around the room.

Shattered souls

"Are you sure you don't want me to go with you?" Dad asked me. 


Dad and I were taking my luggage outside where Finn and Isabella were waiting and helping me load my boxes and stuff into the car. It was time for me to start college and I preferred to stay in the dorm. I wasn't feeling nervous or anything, Isabella and Carrie were going to be with me. I was only feeling sad because I won't get to see Finn all the time. 


Ever since Finn and I patched things up, I decided to remain positive. I stopped thinking about Mum and Salvador because I finally accepted that they were gone. I was glad I knew what happened to them and I believed they were at peace. Finn thought his sister was out there and I understand why he doesn't want to talk about it. It has been long and he still has hope that one day he will see her. 


"No Dad," I said as I passed Isabella a little box containing my jewelry. "Finn will drive us there and you can come visit".
