Pandora Box

During the past year, Sengoku dug a lot of information about Indra and found no one else had this name other than the one in the myths.

Moreover, he seemed to know about Zero to some extent, so he might be a creature that had lived long ago like Zero. Since there were monsters and priestess in the past, it wouldn't be surprising if a Buddha existed as well, right?

Of course, this was nothing but Sengoku's hypothesis.

Perhaps it wasn't Buddha but a Demon in heaven.

"I happen to have some questions to ask you." Sengoku didn't waste any time and went straight to the point.

He knew that Indra's time was limited. He learned this the hard way the last time they met.

He didn't know who Indra was, and neither did he know what Indra's objective was but Indra seemed to know a lot of things.

Although Black Order was only established recently, they barely interracted with other World Government organizations, and since Sengoku rarely had the opportunity to run into someone who seemed to know a lot of things, he naturally had to ask some questions.

"Who is Zero? What is in Galzburg? What is Makima's objective?"

He would judge whether Indra was an enemy based on his answer. Sengoku had always been very cautious of Indra. He appeared at the same time as Zero, so he was not necessarily a good person.

As an Admiral, Sengoku was well past the time to talk about good and evil. As a resourceful Admiral, he put benefits above more when necessary.

Regardless of who Indra was, as long as he was of use to him, why not believe him?

This was what Sengoku thought, so he directly asked these questions.

Indra chuckled. He had his hands behind his back, as if he already knew that Sengoku would ask these questions. He naturally said, "I don't know about the details about hell, but there was a tribe in Galzburg that worshipped the demons. That tribe obtained Pandora Box that contained the Demons' legacy."

"Pandora Box?"

"Everything about a truly powerful demon is terrifying. The Demons' legacy is no exception. Since the Pandora Box is contaminated by the Demons' legacy, it can give people an extremely powerful telekinesis. The more compatible the person with the telekinesis power, the more they can hear the voice of the demon. In the end, they are bewitched into becoming demon believers. That is also the reason Zero can completely control the world from hell. As long as he controls those who are bewitched or even possessed by his will, he will be able to leave hell and return to this world one day."

"... so that Pandora Box is what's responsible for the people in Galzburg, which allows Zero to interfere with this world such as Nine-Tails' attack, Toguro, and Jewel of Four Souls?"

Sengoku kept Indra's words in mind, and he couldn't wait to tell Garp about these things.

He had only told Garp about his encounter with Indra. Even Fleet Admiral Kong and Five Elders didn't know about it.

Everyone had their own little secrets. In fact, only he and Z knew that Garp could transform into Nine-Tails' demon fox form. If the World Government knew about this, it would become very troublesome.

"Then what is Makima's objective?" Sengoku couldn't help but think of this woman. Was this woman who suddenly appeared really a demon hunter from Jewel of Four Souls, or she simply wanted to create more chaos?

Black Order had indeed slain many monsters, contributing to the world's order. However, the Sengoku had an omnious feeling whenever he saw her.

"Kill the demons and... completely eliminate some demons." Indra softly answered Sengoku's doubts, but he said something that made Sengoku even more confused.

"What does this mean?" Sengoku didn't understand what 'completely eliminate some demons' meant. Could it be that she didn't completely kill most of the demons, and why why would she only completely eliminate some demons?

"Some demons... This is related to the origin of this world. Once they die, the 'disease' in this world will disappear."

Indra added in a low voice, "Makima wants to completely eliminate some demons, but I don't know what she is after, and I don't know which demons she wants to kill."

Demons... are related to the concept of the world?

Sengoku squinted. This was something he had never thought of before. This kind of existence was too dangerous.

However, before Sengoku could even wrap his head around it, Indra continued, "But those demons that are related to the origin of this world can not die. Even though most of the demons can die, those demons only return to hell if they're dead. Makima wants to eliminate those demons completely, but no one knows what means she will use to accomplish her ambitions. This is your world, so figure it out with your own eyes."

"... So that's how it is." Sengoku pondered for a moment and finally looked straight at Indra. Looking at the thin mask on his face, he said in a deep voice, "Then, what is your objective? I'm afraid you're not telling me these things through my dream simply to kill time, right?"

"Since you are a perceptive person who can get this far on the proficiency in your Devil Fruit, perhaps you can help me with one thing. Consider that the payment for all the information I've given."

Indra slightly raised his head and softly said, "Not all laws and truths can be obtained..."

His body gradually turned into light and disappeared. Sengoku watched his body disappear and didn't say another word.

Sengoku was actually relieved when Indra said that he needed his help. After all, nothing was free in this world. If Indra didn't want anything in return, Sengoku might think he had ulterior motives.

If Indra needed Sengoku's help, it proved that Sengoku had his worth. Sengoku managed to climb this far in rank because of such a cautious attitude.

As he fell into deep thought, he fell into a deep sleep. By the time he woke up, the sky was already bright.

"Pandora Box, tribe, there should be someone who can communicate with Zero among them, but I don't know how powerful they will be..."

After Sengoku got up from the bed, he was ready to tell Garp part of what happened last night before Garp left.
