Six Monsters!

Under everyone's watchful eyes, giant monsters emerged from the portal.

"General, the first three monsters detected are all classified as Category IV. But starting with the fourth monster, the energy levels indicate it's a Category V. Furthermore, this Category V monster is significantly larger than the one that appeared on Nublar Island!"

The monitoring personnel at the command centre, observing the monster data displayed on the virtual screen, reported the grim news to the two generals nearby.

"Three Category IV monsters and one Category V monster?" General Pentecost muttered to himself upon hearing the report.

"General, the portal is still active! Another Category V monster is coming through!" the monitoring personnel exclaimed again.

"Five monsters? This is getting out of hand!" The disbelief in the monitoring personnel's voice mirrored the growing concern among everyone else. The revelation that the aliens had sent five monsters, including two Category V monsters, caused a deep dread. The number of monsters now matched the number of Jaegers deployed, and fighting in the ocean posed a severe disadvantage to the Jaegers. The humanoid Jaegers would struggle to move as freely as they could on land, while the monsters, adapted to the underwater environment, would become even more formidable.

"Damn it! How are we supposed to handle five monsters at once?" The Jaeger pilots, witnessing the continuous emergence of monsters, felt a mix of disbelief and frustration.

They had assumed that deploying five Jaegers for this mission would ensure a decisive victory, even if a few monsters appeared. But the situation had escalated beyond their expectations, with monsters emerging in overwhelming numbers.

"There's no time to question it. We have five Jaegers and five monsters. We'll pair up accordingly. Eureka Striker and I will take on the two Category V monsters, and the rest of you handle the Category IVs," one of the pilots of Eureka Striker suggested, filled with fighting spirit.

However, just as he finished speaking and the fifth monster fully emerged, everyone was shocked to see that the portal was still not closed. Another monster's head began to appear.

"Are you kidding me? Another one? When will this end?" Everyone except Li Yue, who remained calm, was stunned and speechless.

...

"Generals, I have some news. The sixth monster emerging from the portal seems to be only a Category II," the monitoring personnel reported, breaking the tense silence in the command centre.

"Are you sure? A Category II monster?" General Lin asked, wanting confirmation.

"Yes, General. The data shows it is only 70 meters tall, and its energy levels correspond to a Category II," the researcher confirmed after double-checking the information.

"Well, that's a relief, at least," the generals sighed slightly. Despite the unexpected escalation, a Category II monster was far less threatening than another Category V. They speculated that the aliens might be reaching their limit, unable to send more high-level monsters through the portal.

...

In the end, as predicted, no more monsters emerged after the sixth one. This brought some relief, but the thought of the Jaeger pilots battling six monsters underwater made everyone anxious again.

As Li Yue observed the portal, he noticed it flickering, indicating instability. "Perhaps forcing so many monsters through the portal has destabilized it," he thought.

"Jaeger pilots, listen up! We have six monsters: one Category II, three Category IVs, and two Category Vs. This will be a tough battle, but the fate of humanity rests on your shoulders. We cannot afford to fail. Please, give it your all and ensure victory!" General Lin's sincere and urgent plea resonated with everyone.

"Remember, we will be waiting to celebrate your triumphant return. And Mr. Li Yue, we need you to give everything you've got. We're counting on you!"

At this moment, the generals placed their hopes on Li Yue, knowing his strength could turn the tide in this critical battle.
