Mushoku Tensei - A Second Chance

This fan-fic will contain heavy spoilers for any anime-only fan of Mushoku Tensei. You have been warned.
This story considers what may have happened if the Rudeus from the future had been successful in his attempt at time travel. What if Rudeus' attempt at time travel had resulted in him traveling back into the body of his younger self?
After researching time travel with the help of Perugius and Nanahoshi, Rudeus makes his attempt only to find himself opening his eyes to see Paul and Zenith doting over their newborn son. Rudeus is essentially given a second chance at life in this world starting with all the knowledge he had accrued. Will he be able to protect his family this time around?
Please note this is my first attempt at writing of any sort. I would honestly appreciate any critiques and advice. I don't mind criticism, but please be kind about it.
W. Literally what I had in mind for my novel. Wanted to write a a story where future rudues was transmigrated to the past upon his death. Read a couple chapters, Very well detailed, superb writing style, amaxing plot progression overall. I look forward to what you do in the future!
It's a rare Mushoku Tensei fanfiction, with an even rarer setting of featuring Future Rudues, and of course the quality of writing is good. It's worth a read!

Seeing how I have fully read the web novel it is actually pretty relevant to what I think Rudeus would've done! Amazing work on this! I can't wait for the future arcs to be redone as well.
Although it’s nothing particularly groundbreaking, this is a pretty solid read that I would recommend to any fans of Mushoku Tensei (especially LN readers)

It's a good story and I was curious what would have happened if Rudius had correctly traveled back in time and corrected his mistakes that led to his tragic future.
The story is very interesting and very well written, I didn't notice any writing errors or anything like that. My only problem with it is that Rudeus is very cautious about showing his powers, he is already one of the 7 strongest in the world but he is entering the academy as a normal student, and in addition doing everything in the most discreet way possible. For me, Mc being so discreet made me drop the story
I just wanted to say that I love the new book cover for Mushoku Tensei: A Second Chance.
When i read mt i thought what if rudeus went back to past and survived . it took that idea and turned it into an quite a fascinating fic. although it lacks in emotions and suspense it is really enjoyable. you would always wait for next chapters once read. it also disappoints in updating stability but we need to understand that this writers are not paid for this work so the delay is acceptable.Hope it continues and fans keep supporting it. Since its OldRudeus i will asume that its still a hârêm... As no sane man would not marry his future wife again and let them be alone or with someone else... So the hârêm is AT LEAST Roxy, Sylphy and Eris... But I would like spoilers... Does he includes anyone else?
This is one of the better Mushoku Tensei Fanfictions. I definitely recommend reading it.
