Unknown Specimen

The headless body poured its endless stream of blood as Marina didn't let herself blink or look away from it, however, even when her stare was broken as the police made their way inside, the entity didn't get back up, laying like a normal corpse should.

"I wonder what happened here" wondered Jeremy, he saw various strange things around the house but it wasn't enough to make his mind.

Every civilians inside of the house had been taken to the hospital, since every single one of them had been harmed.

Lidia and Jeremy had once again been the first to get on the scene, which was why Lidia was surprised by what he was saying.

"What do you mean? It's pretty clear what happened, someone broke in and got shot dead" she said, thinking that he was just messing around, there was no way he hadn't noticed the headless body with liters upon liters of blood filling the room.

He had even stepped in it, his shoes and the lowest part of his pants had bathed in it.

The two of them had no clue what the other was on about, only Lidia could notice anything of the man in grey, as it was, Jeremy wouldn't be able to confirm whether there was a corpse there or not, when he had entered the room, he had moved over the corpse as if he had known it was there without realising his strange movement.

Lidia and some of the other female agents around pointed out the corpse and after managing to confirm that there was something off, which was only possible with one of the women taking the chief's of police hand and placing it the non-visible corpse, this only worked with the dead body however, the blood wouldn't ever be noticed with that method.

The blood was still pouring too, it had been almost an hour since his head had been blasted off but it wasn't weakening, it was slowly expanding everywhere and wasn't drying either.

The reaction from the chief after being shown the evidence of something highly strange was almost just as bizarre, he called for everyone to evacuate the house, lock it up as if it contained a deadly viruse and then told everyone to keep watch that nothing happened.

He then hurriedly called someone, seemingly quite anxious about this, despite the fact that they had heard from the surviving victims that this corpse was that of the serial killer, he couldn't be happy that his killings seemed to have been put an end to.

Soon enough, the entire personnel was ordered to leave the area, leaving it without surveillance and without even taking care of the corpse inside.

The crime scene was then silently and stealthily taken over by people who definitely weren't your typical authorities, they in fact, didn't look like authorities at all.

Their identities were concealed and most of them carried themselves like veterans, except for a few other people, who unlike them, didn't carry any weapons.

The unknown armed force invaded the house, considered what they had been told about the strange thing inside, they had had to gather up only females for this operation, which had made them run later than usual.

The first thing the unknown agents noticed, was that the blood supposedly flowing all over the place was missing, no trace of any such things anywhere.

The man in grey had recovered but with the house surrounded with specifically the people can could see him, there wasn't much to do.

The entity was just standing still, seemingly unresponsive.

"It's not doing anything but the target has recovered from its injury" reported one of the agents over the radio to someone standing outside.

"If it can regenerate from mortal wounds, just shoot it down and get its body over there" responded the person, expecting the agent on the other side to confirm she had heard the order but no such thing came.

All that he heard was the sound of repeated gun fire inside of the house, except, it didn't seem very controlled as it should be, it was starting and beginning again erratically.

"Dammit" simply muttered the man outside, rubbing his forehead, it wasn't unsual for them to get failures since they dealt with the highly unpredictable but from what he had managed to gather on this thing, it shouldn't be able to overpower dozens of armed soldiers, neither should it be capable of sending them into such a panic.

"We lost sight of it, it faded into thin air and-" the woman on the line reported but was cut off as the one side of the house bursted, an agent flew through the gap as the man looked over at what had happened.

The information he had gathered stated that this thing seemingly only targeted women and was only visible to them, whilst men are seemingly compelled to not notice anything.

He was supposedly slow and capable of exerting greater strength than should be possible, powerful enough to crush bones.

The agents stating that it had vanished into thin air was one thing but the fact that he, a man could see someone calmly walking past the agents and going further into the distance was another.

The description given was similar, pretty much the exact same except that it now had longer hair and had now assumed to form of a woman.

"Dear god, don't stand there! It switched things around, take over the capture!" he shouted to the few males agents around him, he himself started running after the creature as they soon followed.

But somehow, despite the entity's walking speed being abysmal, they never caught up with it, it received a hail of bullets to the back before walking behind an obstacle and disappeared.

The man in charge of this operation thought that it had perhaps switched again but his and everyone efforts were in vain.

The entity of unknown entity had managed to get away and was now roaming the streets of Oliver again.
