"I know they may not be the best option," Ayse verbally cut in while LaRee was still mesmerized by the rusty handaxe. "But we'll make it work. They're still better than what he's got now, and we've got a tight budget to work with.

"That sound like a good deal to you?" Ayse asked, elbowing LaRee's side.

"Yes! This is best for my small budget. And they feel as light as my current axe," LaRee stated.

Cerdo shrugged and motioned for a brother to bring a scanner tablet. "I won't stop you, but I've warned you. They're thin, rusted to hell, and being so light means they'll likely last you a couple of battles. Then, they'll just snap on you."

"If that happens, then we'll just buy a new set," Ayse reasoned. "This way it'll be easier for him to get used to metal axes instead of wood and stone."

LaRee quickly pressed his card against the scanner.
