"You don't think I can kill?"

Ayse's voice was steady as a tranquil pond. Yet, between Ayse's one-eyed leer and his bone-chilling tone, that emotionless statement felt like it echoed through the room.

"Look me in the eye and tell me I'm not a killer. Do that, and I'll refund everything while still providing a week's worth of service," added Ayse, still talking in his hollow, monotone voice.

She opened her mouth, intent on getting her money back at no loss… but her tongue couldn't move. Aegri couldn't even blink while staring into Ayse's empty eye.

Suddenly, Ayse's voice flipped back into a casual chuckle, "You don't know what I've been through, and I don't care to share. You don't know how many people I've killed, and I stopped counting. Right now, though, we both happen to be right here. You're our employer, and we're your employees. Would you rather harp on about my unknown past, or on what you've learned these past few days?"
