Should've Read the Fine Print
While Leon geared up for war with the United States, Overseer Rothschild began his campaign of attrition against the rest of the world. The UN troops cleared out rebel strongholds, making examples of anyone who would disobey them. Overboss Rockefeller made sure to keep the economic titan of the New World Order turning. Complicit Enslavement, that was the term coined by Rockefeller as the New World Order stripped and stole everything from those under their rule.
The people of the New World Order owned nothing, had zero claim to land, money, and life. Children were born for the sole purpose to replace aging workers who couldn't make the cut anymore. The people seemed content with their way of life. Factories output engines of war and mills produced lumber to build new state-owned housing. Nothing seemed to even shake these people, there was no retirement, no social net to carry the weight of the aging workers. It was as if they were simply asleep, eating, shitting, and working.
Within a matter of weeks, the Middle East was enslaved by the New World Order, giving them all the oil, and natural resources they'd need for a prolonged war with the United States.
Everyone outside of the New World Order's control had a choice. Join the Order, or Fight for what little freedom they possessed. Japan, Taiwan and South America had already chosen to join the United States in defying the Order, while most of Europe had already fallen to the New World Order.
Back with the Star Spangled Heroes, the Overlord was looking over their original battle plans they'd used against the US Government during their first ever wave of combat.
"Ghost, I've been thinking."
"What's on your mind Overlord?"
"We've been focused on repelling the Order, but we have yet to extent an offer to those nations who have yet to make a decision."
"That's true, what did you have in mind?"
"Normally, I'd leave this sort of work up to you, but do you remember how we lured the US President and his troops into the greatest trap we've ever devised?"
"Of course, I do, it was an amazing feat, and it's what lead us to gain the confidence of the American People."
"Why don't we release the footage of the event? Go global, show the rest of the world there is a way to hit these guys and that submission to them isn't the only way. "
"That...That could work, gather a team, I'm putting you on this project. We need everyone on board with this. I am officially designating you as the United States Ambassador. Let's get as many allies as we can."
As the United States began their preparations to fight, The Ghost and Juno were going over modifications to Liberty Bell, armor production and research projects Juno had come up with.
"Walk me through everything that has been done to Liberty Bell."
"Well, because of her size, she has the advantage in any mech fight. We have armored all of the weak points we identified during our time in the augmented reality. My team and I have also been working closely with the Japanese National Research and Development team. They have an automaton, problem is, we can't replicate the artificial intelligence that made Liberty Bell the first and only fully aware and sentient machine."
"What about Independence AI?"
"Independence is a good start, but it is far from a combat AI. Independence mainly focuses on computer based strategies and every test we've run has yielded that Independence can't make on the fly decisions that are needed during combat. Liberty Bell now has free will but has expressed the desire to continue to work alongside you as her primary."
"Well, I'm relieved to hear that, keep on the AI issue, I will get in contact with Minister Akira and see if we can't bring the Japanese automaton here for full inspection or if we can't send you over there."
"Thank you, this means a lot to us."
"We are counting on you and the department to product things we can use to win this war."
"Speaking of products, find the Armorer. They have your new suit of armor ready for testing and fitting."
"Excellent. I'll head there now."
