CHAPTER 58

Since there weren't many guests, there were very few tables and chairs, only three dining tables.

Compared to those big scenes with dozens or hundreds of tables, it could be said to be very simple.

Yuri looked around and found a few familiar faces.

Firstly, there was Linda Parker, one of the main characters of the wedding, who he met once, and she was talking and laughing with a middle-aged couple at the middle table, who seemed to be her parents.

Yuri just wonders if Linda's parents are aware of their son-in-law's secret identity.

The other two familiar faces were sitting at the rightmost table, namely Pied Piper and Hunter Zolomon, who must have already known that Wally was Kid Flash since they were invited here.

The last familiar face was someone Yuri often seen in the news.

That was Jesse Chambers, the early twenties blonde and CEO of Quickstart, more widely known as the superhero Jesse Quick.

Jesse was seated at the table on the far left, next to three other people, an elderly couple and a thirteen or fourteen year old boy.

Of course, in this setting, everyone was in their regular clothes.

As for the main man, Wally, Yuri still didn't see him.

"Hey kid, are you here for the wedding too?"

Suddenly, Yuri heard someone talking behind him, and if it was no surprise, it was talking to him.

He turned around and found a kind looking middle-aged woman looking at him.

"Oh! Yes, ma'am, I'm a friend of Wally. He invited me to his wedding." Yuri gave a smile.

"I'm glad you came to Wally's wedding, I'm his aunt Iris, I didn't think Wally could make such a young friend." Iris smiled and said to Yuri.

Upon hearing this, Yuri quickly realized it. Wally is Kid Flash, and Barry is his uncle, that means ...

The middle-aged lady in front of him was Flash's wife?

"Can you tell me your name?" Iris asked in a friendly manner.

"Yuri, Yuri Sotos, just call me Yuri." Yuri scratched his head and said, he really wasn't very good at interacting with friendly and outgoing people after all.

"Aunt Iris!" It was at this moment that a shout suddenly came from behind Iris.

The they saw Wally running over from afar, stopping in front of the two.

"Aunt Iris, it's really nice of you to come." He said as he gave Iris a hug.

"This is the most important day of your life, how could I not come? By the way, where are your parents?" Iris asked with a smile.

"Their car has already crossed the Van Buren Bridge and will be here in a few minutes."

Even though Wally could pick his parents up in a flash with his speed, today was a very special day and he didn't want to mess with it.

"Come with me, Aunt Iris, a lot has happened lately and I've been wanting to talk to you." Wally assisted Iris and was visibly excited.

As a result, Iris suddenly frowned and reprimanded Wally.

"Wally. I can understand how you want to talk, but you shouldn't leave your friend alone without saying hello, it's rude."

Friend?

Wally blinked as he looked towards Iris' side, only to see a very familiar looking teenager standing there.

Wally raised an eyebrow.

Wasn't this the teenager he met at the burger joint last month? Wally thought to himself, the friend he invited should be ...

"Oh..! So it's you!"

In an instant, Wally connected the dots, he could guess that the real body of the alien hero who fought alongside him might be a human, but he didn't think that this person would be a teenager and he already met that person.

"Let's see, your name is Yuri, right?" Wally rubbed his chin, then asked in an affirmative tone.

"Wally! How can you not remember your friend's name?" Iris was very dissatisfied with Wally's attitude and grabbed him by the ear.

"Ow! Aunt Iris, it was an accident! I'm sorry, I'll correct it, I promise!"

Seeing Wally's sincere stance, Iris withdrew her hand in satisfaction.

"Aunt Iris, I'm afraid the plans for our conversation will have to be postponed while you go meet Linda's parents, okay? I need to talk to Yuri alone now."

Wally offered, and without thinking otherwise, Iris headed straight for the table where Linda and the others were.

"You think we can be friends, Wally, right? That's possible, so here I am, but if you want to discuss my transformations and such with me, I can't tell you." Yuri said as he stared seriously into Wally's face, a gesture that required him to tilt his head slightly; after all, Wally was six-foot and Yuri was still in the growing phase.

"Of course, everyone has secrets, I can understand that. Don't you worry, I won't tell just anyone what your powers are, including other superheroes, unless you agree." Wally said rightfully.

"Come on, let me introduce you to some friends." Yuri nodded in the face of Wally's invitation.

Wally and Yuri walked in unison towards where Jesse and the others were.

"Hey! Guys, look who's here?" As soon as they saw Wally, everyone laughed happily.

"Wally, I can't believe you kept the fact that you and Linda is getting married, I didn't know about it until a week ago when I received your invitation, thanks to that I thought we were good friends, don't you want to explain?" Jessie said jokingly as she wrapped her arms around herself.

"Jesse's right, Wally." The older man at the table agreed.

"Okay, I admit I was wrong, but you all know so much has happened in the last month, I just thought I should get it over with first." Wally confessed.

"Don't take this too personally Wally, we know you've had a tough month so .... why don't you introduce the boy first?" The old woman beside the older man said with eyes full of kindness.

At that moment, the gazes of everyone at the table turned to Yuri.

"Wally, is this teenager a newcomer?" Jesse asked as he passed a wink to Wally.

"Maybe, this is Yuri, my new friend." Wally said introducing Yuri.

"Yuri, this is Jessie, you're from Keystone, you should be no stranger to her."

"Nice to meet you Yuri, Wally's friends are my friends, come visit us at Quickstart sometime."

"If you need help, feel free to come to me as well."

Wally then introduced Yuri to the others.

The older man was Jay Garrick, the first Flash, and the older woman was his married wife, Joan Garrick.

As for the fourteen year old boy beside them was Bart Allen, Wally's cousin and nephew, as well as Barry's own grandson from the thirtieth century.

This group, plus Barry, is the fastest family in the world, the Flash Family.
