Subsequent Fall Part 44: Training Day

"How come I have the feeling we have a rift between you two, its the last thing we need right now?" Astral asked the two of them as Jaimie rested her chest around his head.

"Dude, that planet was doomed from the start, it went from one power vacuum to another. Just now they have to rebuild much slower." Achilles looked over as anger washed over Airsoft. His fist clenched as James and Angel stood between the two.

"But they are still people that need saving!" Airsoft was furious as he yelled. Astral clapped as they were in the training room. "Will we settle this the old fashion way?" Airsoft took off his helmet and tossed it to the side. James and Angel were sliding backwards into each other as the two men walked close enough to touch their noses together.

"While we are at it, do you two want to take on Titan again?" Astral asked the twins as they hopped away, Adam got in the middle to referee the fight.

"Yeah, but only if you take her on." James pointed to Jaimie as he looks up and is greeted by a face full of chest.

"I think he has already won that matchup." Angel got a giggle as he gave a thumbs up which Jaimie grabbed and snapped.

"I agree to this duel." Jaimie moved downwards and away to lock eyes with her husband. "Don't go easy, otherwise, I won't let you have the end of it."

"Please, I don't think you would ever stop." Astral had a light chuckle as the observatory glass opened up. James, Angel, Astral and Jaimie hopped up and watched the pending fight from above as May entered with Anders.

"Hey ladies! Playtime is tomorrow." Jaimie smiled as she started scratching May's rabbit ears. A soft little hum was heard from May as Anders walked past her with a slap on the ass from Jaimie.

"I have the test results that correlate for him." Anders handed the papers over to Astral as he started reading, this wasn't the fight he wanted to watch, it was the next one. Adam blew a whistle as the two stared at each other.

Both of them pausing in place ready to completely destroy one another into bits. Astral had a trick up his sleeve to cheer on one side as he finished the report. He knows that he and Lone had a very important talk about life after combat and life with family while being a warrior. He also told Airsoft to ask Indy about this subject.

'I know what he does, he is stronger and faster.' Airsoft was just going to teach him a lesson. No tricks for him as he sprinted and sent a punch to Achilles left side as it broke a rib. Achilles smiled, punches like these were easy to take.

'What a foolish man, no chance of winning and yet still wants to battle?' Achilles caught the next punch that came for his right side as one arm chop directly into the chestplate of Airsoft bruised his chest. They all took a gasp in the observatory outside of Astral.

Airsoft countered with a low sweep, cracking his armor plating on Achilles. Using his other leg Achilles kicked Airsoft into the wall as he rolled around for a second before getting up. Adam looked over at Airsoft and was looking for a thumbs up in order to let him keep going.

Airsoft gave the thumbs up as Achilles walked over and grabbed him by the throat, hoisting him upwards. Looking up into his helmet, began to speak. "Why did you challenge me despite being weaker?"

"Because the weak need someone to stand up for them because they won't." Airsoft clasped his hands over the ears of Achilles as he dropped him and backed up. He no longer could hear.

"AIRSOFT! You have the children." Astral shouted down as the windows were opened." Adam and the rest of them were completely shocked. Airsoft relaxed his shoulders as he knew what his plan was.

"That old geezer like me told me something." Airsoft dropped his helmet to the ground. "Live life to its fullest and always have a trick or two." Using a booster on his leg he kicked his helmet directly into Achilles as he hit the back wall and knocked his head against the wall.

Standing for a second he then slumped over and was knocked out. The medical team on standby came in and carried both Achilles and Airsoft out to the medical bay. Airsoft went for a checkup and a different reason.

Adam gave the thumbs up to the rest of them up in the observation booth that the next fight would be ready pending some fine tuning. As James and Angel stretched the two realized this is the first time either Astral or Jaimie would watch the two of them take on this momentous feat.

"Can we do it?" Angel whispered quietly to her brother as they hopped down to the arena itself.

"No clue, if we are perfect, there isn't a doubt in my mind that we can win." James' confidence was hidden by a fear of being a disappointment. The two saw the hologram slowly light up as they loosened up.

"Sir, should we downscale it to a difficulty they can clear, it is set for base Titan with no magic?" Shiro asked, knowing the kids would struggle with not only the fight but failing in front of Astral.

"No. If it has correctly captured his power inside of the hologram. It's better for them to know the full scale of his physical abilities." Astral looked at the artificial program and smiled. "No matter what, they will put up a fight, win or lose, it's just practice!"

Jaimie had the speakers on full from coming out of the observation room as James and Angel had beaming smiles across their faces. The two of them are excited and proud to have Astral's full support. They got into their stances and prepared for the word go from Adam.
