Adventure of Astral Part 44: Grand Summoning

The four were left speechless as Astral grabbed Ruby by her face. Slamming her into the ground as his scars slowly began to fade away from his skin. His pain and agony from the past was healing for him. He threw her to the side as she was the one with the biggest strength against him. He backed up as Diamond sent a storm of gems at him.

The attack turned to snow as the white hand held Beacon up to the attack. Diamond looked at him in frustration as Topaz clapped her hands together. "Move like lightning and strike like thunder!" A yellow aura filled the other three as Astral dug his heel into the ground. Looking at them as Diamond and Sapphire rushed in to attack him.

They launched in close as Astral put away Muramasa for the moment. Sapphire launched a maelstrom of cutting winds at Astral as Diamond launched a dark cutter spell at him from the opposite side. Astral took the maelstrom attack directly as the white hand launched a counter spell, summoning a sea of white to block the attack as it washed over Diamond. Stunning her for a moment as Astral grabbed onto Sapphire's foot. Sliding her across the ground as he threw her into the air.

She stalled out in the air as she looked down. Summoning a blizzard down onto him as it seemed to pass right around him. Beacon was held above him as it melted into air by contacting a hard light barrier being enhanced with heat. Astral jumped up past her as she didn't sense it. He slammed his arms down onto her and sent her back into the ground. Causing the air to shake from the impact.

Ruby looked up and wondered how to stop him. Sapphire was on the ground coughing up blood. Her minor healing spells will not be saving her. Diamond shook her head free as Astral landed softly behind them on the roof of the stable in the courtyard. "You are a monster!" Ruby shouted at the top of her lungs as Astral shrugged.

"Then slay the monster if you can." Astral jumped down as Topaz summoned a blade of pure electricity. Slicing at Astral who blocked them by pushing her hands out of the way. "Trying to stop me from healing by causing lasting damage, it works but you need to be better." Astral spun behind her as he led her to slash open her thigh. She collapsed to the ground as Astral grabbed her yellow hair and threw her next to Sapphire. "Then there were two. The originals, the ones where no matter how hard they tried. The ones who fall short. Right?"

Topaz stood on her knees as she grabbed both her necklace and Sapphires and tossed them to her sisters. "Use the bonus and take him down!" Ruby caught Topaz's necklace as Diamond caught Sapphire's. Astral waited as they wrapped them around their necks. Astral slowly drew Muramasa as Topaz started to chant in the background. He then quickly drew his magnum as he shot her with a light round directly in her chest on the right side. She collapsed instantly next to her sister as Ruby and Diamond looked at Astral.

He rushed them down and closed the gap. His first swing of Muramasa they leaped over. Astral smiled as he increased his swing speed as the two of them were performing acrobatic performances to dodge him. He kept the pressure up as they couldn't counter with what he was attacking them with. All they could do was hope for a moment to counter where he would slip up.

Diamond took a second as she turned the floor to ice, getting a light slash across her face as she rolled with the attack to his right. Ruby had her opening as Astral stabbed Diamond in the hip. He pulled his blade back as it was a very unserious wound for her. Ruby summoned over one thousand fireballs directly at Astral as Beacon extended once more. Shielding Astral and covering him with a full field of water. The fire collided as mist and steam started to raise from the courtyard.

Astral threw Muramasa into Ruby's foot as she was now pinned in one spot. She pulled away from his blade as her foot turned as red as the gem she wore. Covering the slick icy ground with a new liquid as it froze her wound shut. Astral slid across the ground as he grabbed Muramasa and backhanded her over to Diamond.

Diamond was busy charging a fuller spell. She clapped as a diamond appeared above her. It started to sparkle and send beams of light at Astral. He flipped backwards as he wondered if he could cause it to over refract. He pivoted from his feet into the air as Beacon covered him in a bubble charm. Astral tapped his left wrist as a small little capsule appeared. The size of a pill in pure purple color was held in his right hand. He tossed it to his left before sending it into the diamond. Causing it to increase the gravity of the area.

Astral landed into the ground as he struggled to stand upward. He looked directly to the gem as Ruby quickly responded, launching a fireball into the diamond as it turned from purple to red. The beams of light turned into red beams as everything the beams came into contact with started ablaze. He had no more answers as he threw Muramasa through the diamond as it shattered and exploded into a giant fireball. The white hand extended and controlled the explosion in a barrier as she compressed it into a tiny sphere no bigger than a snowflake.

Astral clapped as Muramasa returned to its saya. He closed the gap and grabbed the orb as he slipped it into his armor. He grabbed both Diamond and Ruby by their necks before they could react as he threw them into the ground. They were in a state of shock as Astral kicked them over to their sisters. The two of them looked at Sapphire and Topaz as they all have been defeated. They looked up to Astral as the white hand faded away. As did Beacon, they looked up to him as he stepped closer. "You lost."
