“Who wouldn’t get worried about him? He’s a deity with so little understanding of humans. Moreover, he explores his island all the time. He rules over the island; he cares not if he gets in trouble.” Jason laughed, attracting the eyes of those around him, aside from Milan. “This is not the first time he followed a bride around. He would walk the village whenever a bride with those crystal eyes is born.” 


He then felt an old necklace on his neck. “I think it never reached the accounts since no one knew it could happen. Then again, no one spoke to him, and almost everyone was bound to forget his face. However, cameras were introduced to the island before Aisha’s time. I think some people caught images of Owen in a village carnival. Boris showed me the photos your friend found.” 


Milan finally faced Jason again. He then realized that Corbin had seen photos of Owen with Aisha. Was that the start of his suspicions against the other?
