The Mayan ceremonial dagger had an inscription in the ancient language that read: "Offer thy heart". It's obviously an instruction left by the past inhabitants of this forgotten place, but who would be stupid enough to stab himself in the heart with a rusty old knife found inside a tombstone?

After activating my battery pack the dagger shimmers brightly in a cyan light, the creatures are coming, I can hear their steps.

<p>It was only after managing to climb out of the pit that Uriel realized he missed something important. He didn't have a rope to help the others escape from the pit and, more importantly, the pickup truck was nowhere to be seen which meant they didn't have any means to going back to the city either.</p>

<p>"At least there's no bugs nearby." Uriel tried to comfort himself as the way back threatened to be long and difficult. A group of hunters going back on foot from an intermediate hunting zone wasn't anywhere near an ideal scenario by itself, but going back alone and under the continued rain only made things more difficult and dangerous. "If only I had something to pull them out... the souvenir shop!"</p>
