The Mayan ceremonial dagger had an inscription in the ancient language that read: "Offer thy heart". It's obviously an instruction left by the past inhabitants of this forgotten place, but who would be stupid enough to stab himself in the heart with a rusty old knife found inside a tombstone?

After activating my battery pack the dagger shimmers brightly in a cyan light, the creatures are coming, I can hear their steps.

After his friends left the coffee shop, Peter remained sitting in the chair for a long while still trying to understand why won't his closest friends believe him. He knew that the idea of cryptids on the loose inside city walls was deranged, but after seeing that creature it didn't sound so crazy anymore.

"Maybe if they saw the creature they would believe me." He mumbled but he soon quit the idea since he knew cryptids didn't appear in any photographs. He'd seen shapeshifting traits before and he was absolutely certain that the creature he saw was a cryptid, but without any means to prove it his friends would still think him crazy.
