The Mayan ceremonial dagger had an inscription in the ancient language that read: "Offer thy heart". It's obviously an instruction left by the past inhabitants of this forgotten place, but who would be stupid enough to stab himself in the heart with a rusty old knife found inside a tombstone?

After activating my battery pack the dagger shimmers brightly in a cyan light, the creatures are coming, I can hear their steps.

<p>"Look what you have done!" Charlie scolded the student as the creepy sound of footsteps became louder. It was obviously a cryptid trying to make its way towards them but it was impossible to tell what kind of cryptid it was. At that moment, Uriel realized that something must have been interfering with his mystical sense because, usually, he would be able to at least tell whether there were any cryptids on the vicinity.</p>

<p>Charlie grabbed her rifle and pointed it towards the closed door that led to the watchtower, but contrary to her expectations, the cryptid broke through the ceiling and fell directly on top of her. As a heavenly rank, she was bound to be the first to be sensed by any cryptid.</p>
