The Mayan ceremonial dagger had an inscription in the ancient language that read: "Offer thy heart". It's obviously an instruction left by the past inhabitants of this forgotten place, but who would be stupid enough to stab himself in the heart with a rusty old knife found inside a tombstone?

After activating my battery pack the dagger shimmers brightly in a cyan light, the creatures are coming, I can hear their steps.

Uriel exited the deceivingly dangerous house in the lost city along with Emma, only to realize that the area was overrun by cryptids of all sorts. They were mostly of the beast rank, but among them were some of the most dangerous monster rank crytids the POI had to offer which, unfortunately for Uriel, were giant centipedes.

"Bugs!" Uriel cringed at the sight of so many crawly creatures and although Emma didn't share his disgust for insects, she was even more terrified than him.

The streets were filled with too many creatures that had come out to feed taking advantage of he eclipse's ability to cover the sun, but now that it was killed and the dark mantle subsided they were out in the open and still hungry. Some of them turned to attack other cryptids, but others noticed the presence of the hunters and rushed in to get their long awaited meal.

Emma turned on her heels trying to get back inside, but Uriel caught her arm and pulled her closer.
