"What do you mean? It's my uncle." Uriel shrugged.
"There's no one here, I don't hear anything." Emma latched on Uriel's arm at the realization that something was more wrong than she had initially thought.
There were many clues that hinted her that something was off about Uriel's past. Prior to joining college he had no friends, no paper trace of any kind and his online presence was null. All of those things weren't uncommon by themselves, but put together they painted the picture of a living ghost.
Someone who was able to avoid all social interactions, any kind of government agency and even the internet. Such a thing was completely unheard of but the only way to find out the truth was to venture forward and see it for herself.
"Let's go." Uriel said as he walked inside the room. Contrary to Emma, his pulse was steady and her comment was the only thing that seemed out of place.
