The Mayan ceremonial dagger had an inscription in the ancient language that read: "Offer thy heart". It's obviously an instruction left by the past inhabitants of this forgotten place, but who would be stupid enough to stab himself in the heart with a rusty old knife found inside a tombstone?

After activating my battery pack the dagger shimmers brightly in a cyan light, the creatures are coming, I can hear their steps.

<p>The only place where someone with a trait like that could possibly hide for such a long period of time was the water treatment plant, but that wasn't the only reason why Uriel thought that was the case. It was located right in between the east city gate and the synthetic food processing factory. </p>

<p>Uriel had no clue of what circumstances could lead a hunter to hide for such a long period of time, so he assumed that the woman just fled to wherever she felt the safest, in other words, the nearest body of water. That also meant that she probably died on the run, but that that didn't change anything, because he wasn't actually looking for her but for the cryptid that killed her.</p>
