The Mayan ceremonial dagger had an inscription in the ancient language that read: "Offer thy heart". It's obviously an instruction left by the past inhabitants of this forgotten place, but who would be stupid enough to stab himself in the heart with a rusty old knife found inside a tombstone?

After activating my battery pack the dagger shimmers brightly in a cyan light, the creatures are coming, I can hear their steps.

Nika moved across the building only someone with a trait like hers could. She blinked from shadow to shadow silently, stealthily moving across the hallways and beneath doors taking advantage of the bi-dimentional nature of shadows.

For someone as experienced as her, moving behind enemy lines unnoticed wasn't a big deal, but soon she realized it wouldn't be as simple as she initially thought. The reason for that was that she found a reinforced alloy door that seemed suspicios and although the guards looked completely normal, they emitted an eerie vibe that got her on high alert. They couldn't sense her while she was in the shadows, but the moment she attempted to even poke her head out they immediately got wary.
