The Mayan ceremonial dagger had an inscription in the ancient language that read: "Offer thy heart". It's obviously an instruction left by the past inhabitants of this forgotten place, but who would be stupid enough to stab himself in the heart with a rusty old knife found inside a tombstone?

The Vlog turned out as cringy as it was to be expected, which didn't mean his past entries were any better, but at least it served the purpose of spreading the word about the wendigos. With that done, the Dungeon Raiders company was at a crossroads.

They could potentially start cleansing the city as the head of the Cryptid hunting agency wanted or they could join the rangers to keep the citizens safe. Both alternatives would allow them to somewhat recover from their financial troubles, but that came at the cost of their freedom and Uriel was against it.

Medusa, being the kind hearted woman everyone knew her to be, didn't care what their next step was as long as it meant protecting the citizens. Luna, on the other hand, was more interested in hunting new cryptids and studying them. This, again, made Uriel feel like he had no alternative but to choose the path that had been set for him.
