The ranger's headquarters looked the same as aways on the outside but inside things were completely different from what Uriel remembered. Rangers would spend most of their time outside city walls tracking cryptids and thinning their numbers to make the wilderness safer for other hunters, which led to their headquarters being treated as a short stop before going out again. But now it was different, the place was crowded with people moving from place to place looking busy, just like an anthill.
"Excuse me, I'm here to..."
"What do you want? Can't you see we're busy? We're not accepting any requests from civilians at this moment, if you're having trouble with your neighbors or something just pay a hunter to take care of it." The ranger behind the desk voiced out loudly to compensate for the background noise.
