Hunting done right Part 4

Thanks to Bella's wind barrier, all she felt was a slight prod on the back of her head. It was absolutely harmless and only moved her field of view for a second, but that didn't reassure her in any way. If she felt something, it meant the cryptid had to be behind her and she couldn't keep herself from turning back and seeing the thing in full causing Bella to emit the most ear piercing shriek she had ever mustered.

Nika took it as her cue to enter the bathroom and took advantage of the bidimensional nature of shadows to pass beneath the door. It took her an instant, but when she entered there was nothing to see other than Luna staring at the mirror and Bella standing there confused.

"Why did you yell like that?" Nika asked while still scanning the room.

"I... don't remember." Bella scratched the back of her head.
