The fact that they sold food at such shady establishment was of no surprise to Uriel, especially considering that most customers arrived in broad daylight and either went back before curfew or stayed the night. What took him by surprise was the quality of the meals provided which were even better than what he got at the Pegasus.

'Perhaps I should hire a chef.' Uriel inwardly thought, but hiring new staff wasn't a priority to him since it would only increase their upkeep cost. Everyday that went by without reaching an agreement with the authorities made their business more dangerous and less profitable and Uriel wanted to get that sorted as soon as possible.

Watching the young man gobble up the food like a slum dweller made it impossible for the prostitute to make small talk and she was left with nothing to do but to watch him eat. While it wasn't an obligation, most customers would treat them some food first or even buy them drinks, but that wasn't Uriel's case.
