"Admit it, you forgot about her and you only came for this paper." Said Nika trying to hold her laughter as she waved the incident report filled by the village chief. It would have been easy for him to lie, if not for Nika being with him all day everyday and knowing him like she knew herself. Probably even better.
"I may have gotten a bit sidetracked with all the hunting I've been doing lately," Uriel admitted through gritted teeth. "but we couldn't leave the only evidence that we killed a horror level cryptid behind."
"So, that cute girl is not the person you wanted me to meet? and here I was hoping you would give me grandchildren soon." Dana asked after seemingly appearing from thin air.
"It's not polite to eavesdrop on people," Uriel grunted. "and Alice is just a friend."
"Geez, you're so grumpy. It's really a shame she's not your girlfriend, though, she's really pretty." Dana scoffed.
