Chapter 5: Destruction

I heard an arrow flying by from the back of my head. It hit a bandit that was getting fanned by a girl. It was a kill shot because it stuck right through his neck. I only know one person who could do that. Ji-woo was in her usual clothes. She looks tired like mentally. I hope she has been able to sleep properly.

When she caught her breath, I waved at her. She smiled and waved back. She looked surprised after she noticed my monsters being on standby. The monsters got curious about her but were focused on the matter at hand. A vital person came out.

"Well, I expected problems, but this is different. People with shabby-looking armor can kill my subordinates." A person with a mohawk said.

"Why are you attacking the city, Gehsh?" Ji-woo said. Gehsh? Who the hell names their kid a Garbled mess of a name? If you had asked me to pronounce the name without hearing it first, I would have never been able to say it correctly.

This is all happening so fast. New names are popping up. I can't keep up with the names and the things happening before me. I will try my best to keep up. This is too much stimulation for my brain.

"That is why we attacked the city. Did he really think we would obey his plans?" Gehsh said. Holy shit, what did he say? I missed something significant.

From my right side, I could see a girl that looked familiar. She has a little red on her. Ruby Bella is... Bleeding. Her dress is ripped up, too. She ran to me for some reason. I thought she would just run away.

"The plan fell apart, huh, Sephker? I never knew he was in cahoots with Bandits." Ruby Bella said with an awkward laugh. She is bleeding from her right leg and her left face cheek. What happened?

"Card Caster. If you have a spell card, you need to use it on this guy, even with all the monsters against him. We will have trouble." Yoshi said with a frown.

I do have one card that could be useful. The card's name is Paralyze. It is a generic card that appears in every deck. There is a big problem with the card. I have to be close to the target. Five feet is the maximum distance. Five feet is very tight for a person who casts cards and lets monsters deal with the fighting.

We will have to figure out how to get close. That or stall out. I could wait for more cards to come by or to wait for reinforcements. That being said, would he even let me get that close or allow me to stall? This Geh…Geh, whatever seems harsh.

There is no use staring at each other. He has numbers on us, and we might need to leave and regroup with more substantial people. I wish my brothers were here. They have more brawn in the case of Ferin. He could go head to head with this Geh-geh guy. Lafker could advise a better fighting plan since he has more brains.

In Tien's Basement

A couple in hooded masks lead the trapped girls away from the location. They were given clothes and food with water. They are getting rushed because a few hooded people are casting magic in the basement, destroying the foundation of the building.

The public will not see Tien's deeds. Most of his girls will never know what has happened. One hooded person with a big star on their hood started to speak. Their voice was mumbled and distorted, so the girls could not identify the voice in the future. He said in simple language, making orders easy to understand.

"Once we leave. Grab Tien, his crimes will not be forgiven. Even the great evils would never stoop this low." When the person finished saying their sentence, the hooded people shook their heads up and down.

A lot of the girls were confused about the whole situation. They were just happy to be able to escape. Most of them took food and some water, then immediately ran. Twisting some hooded figures. Alas, the time to destroy the building arrived after a long hour.

Back To Sephker's Point of View

I started to huff and puff. So have all my monsters and Ji-woo. I can just be happy, Geh, whatever is also panting. It has been an hour since we have tried to escape. Gehsh wouldn't allow us to escape. He routed us and had us surrounded.
