Chapter 8: What Happened?

If puppets exist then what other power exists I am not sure of. I hope to find out in a way that doesn't involve me putting in some risk. I want to know about the unknown ahead of time to avoid danger. I feel weak now after casting that spell. 

What was it again? The path of something. It was a card I needed. I could have gone without the cost though. I slipped on my own feet and fell to the ground. I feel in some dirt and I felt myself being raised. One of my monsters grabbed me by my torn up shirt and lifted me up. 

A week has passed since the whole incident. Ruby Bella went back home. I missed not being able to do that girl. She had to leave after what happened to Tien. Or what should have happened. Long story short the bandits threw him under the rug. His sex dungeon was exposed and some of the lower persons of influence were exposed.

The whole sex dungeon scandal was too much for most of the women in our nation. Can't blame them. So many youngsters were being treated like playthings. I fell asleep after being picked up. 

The next thing I know my smart brother, Lafker was able to wake me up. He said some weird people delivered me and then turned into cards. They entered my body and it took him a while to get me up to my bed. 

I was asleep for at least 10 hours. I was also given good news. Luna was unharmed for the most part. I was told the bandits tore up her clothes and even her panties were torn. Fu Xien was able to come to her aid in time before any penetration was made. Which makes me happy. I do not want any of my girls to be forced upon. 

With good news there is bad news. Fu Xien saved Luna, but Fu Xien is nowhere to be found. The only logical conclusion is she was kidnapped. Why would she be targeted is unknown to me. She could have gone with consent. That is a possibility and I am not discounting it. I am just sure with her attitude, it had to be forced. 

Kul is safe. She was the luckiest person in the whole city. Kul slept through the whole thing. The whole siege she was knocked out cold. She told me personally she was like a log in still water. Meaning she slept like there were no problems around her. 

 The one girl I forgot about. I made some promises to her. I just forgot about her name. I remember her body since she was hot. Other than that I don't remember. When I am a bit more relaxed I will look more into who I did. 

Luna was scared about the situation and refused to see anyone for the whole time. She wants me to visit when I am ready. I was putting it off until now. Because when I would have seen her earlier. I would have been mad and threw a fit. Not at Luna, but at the whole situation. 

I was away at an important moment. If I was there I could use the monsters I have and use them to protect the girl I want to eventually wed. Still, I have calmed down and I am ready to see her. I will make sure to comfort her the best I can. 

I hope to not be seen by Mariella. She is not very happy with not tying the knot with Luna. When she came over with Luna and met my dad. My dad was able to help me get out of marriage. 

If she just understood she would agree with me. Love is an important thing. I agree, but I need to be strong to protect that love.
