Chapter 9: Luna’s Feelings

Standing outside Luna's house, I immediately got nervous. What if Mariella is in there. What if Luna's dad is in there? Why am I so nervous? I went on the grind and killed some boars. I still felt nervous so I visited some brothels. Despite all that. I am nervous to go see Luna. 

I just hope the conversation doesn't go sour. I don't like depressing talks. Nor do I like when marriages are brought up. I haven't had my skill long enough to unlock things fast enough to talk about marriage. Even this recent escape in brothels only racked enough points for some A rank skills. 

I knocked and a man who was short opened the door after a few seconds. He had an amused face. This is the first time I am meeting Luna's dad. I am sure Mariella told her husband the bad parts of me. Also, the dad is a dad. He doesn't like the fact that a young man is visiting his daughter. 

"She is in her bedroom. I will ram you with my horns if you lay a finger on her." He said, narrowing his eyes. 

What the hell? Does he think I was one of the bad guys? I am her friend. Hell, more than a friend since I went on a date and had intercourse with her. I am not the bad guy. Wait, would that make me the bad guy in the eyes of a father? 

I walked through the door and kept walking towards her room. I did take in that nothing has changed. I wasn't able to see much since Luna dragged me to her room. Or someone's room; a room to have intercourse in. Yet, it doesn't look that different. 

I was outside her door and knocked on it softly. I could hear Luna's voice even though it was weak. She told me to come into her room. Her voice seems stressed. I can hear that she has yet to recover. From that horrible almost forced intercourse situation. 

When I opened the door Luna's eyes were a little blank.

Once I entered the room her eyes lit up a little. Which is good, I would prefer her to always have a smile. I don't think a frown fits her face. She tried to get out of bed, but she must have not been on her feet for a while. She started to fall and I ran over to grab her. Ignoring her dad's warning. 

I was able to catch her before her face hugged the ground. She raised herself up with my help and sat down on her bed. She was red all over not because of being sick. For almost falling face first onto the floor. 

"I am glad you came to see me." Luna said with a slight force smile. 

"I would come to see you more if I was in tip top shape. I had quite the battle. I am not fully recovered. That won't stop me from seeing you." I said, trying to sound strong. I fought with that Gehsh guy and he took a lot out of me. So much so I had to use a card that made me weak. 

Though I won't tell her that card since the card in my opinion is too hard to understand. Unless, I tell her how the Card Caster skill works again. I don't understand it entirely. My deck is +1 always now. I will always have that corrupted card. 

"I heard from that girl Ji-woo. You were fighting with people who looked like Decomians. Yet they had armor that was foreign. Who were they?" Luna asked with a puzzled face.

Good question. Monsters are like Demonic Beasts. Except, I can control them or at least order them to do stuff. I shouldn't explain it like that since controlling those beasts will make me look like a bad guy. 

"Well, they are people I can summon from another world I guess. Once I called for them they appeared." I said putting it simply.

"Another world? Does that even seem possible?" Luna asked as a rhetorical question. In a way it doesn't seem possible. To me they are just creatures from a card game. Maybe, they are real people. I wouldn't know since I only used the monsters once.

I will ask once I go on a spending spree. I have a lot of Sin Points. Since I get three points per second doing sexual acts. I have racked up a great amount of points. When I upgrade myself I will then figure out how my new skills work and how my older skills work. 

"Maybe, I hate to say it. Since to me it is odd. Everyday I am forced to select a deck to use that day. Each deck has a World to it." I said answering a question that didn't need an answer.

"Regardless, I am glad you are safe." Luna said, putting her head on right under my shoulder. What a cute action to do. I can say the same for her. I can't imagine being in that position. As a guy most people would just kill me. They would get rid of me to make sure I won't be in trouble. 

"Do you want to go on another date? We haven't been on one in a while?" I asked Luna. She got surprised and looked into my eyes. She had a sad face. Is she so traumatized that even the public scares her?

She put my hand on her chest in a non-lewd way. "We need to do it tomorrow. Then I must speak with you after the date." Luna said, lowering her head so I couldn't see her face. 

All I could muster up was, sure. I feel bad for not being able to say much more. I have to say sometimes less is more. I could say all these affirmations, but would they mean much? 

We talked a little while longer. I was asked to stay a little longer so I could talk to Mariella. When Luna said her mom's name. I got scared. She could tell I got scared and said that it would be better if I don't see her. 

So I said my goodbyes and I was able to run home. Mariella is going to make it hard to get stronger. So I had to run home and dodge all the routes I thought she would be at. I went the long way home. I was breathing hard when I got back.

That was a hard thing for my body. I have higher stats but nearly enough to run as much as I did. So I will try to upgrade myself. I have a lot of points. Time to use those Sin Points!
