Chapter 40: Mission To Kill Evil

I gave both monsters a quick brief of what I was trying to do. Both had horrid looks on their faces when I mentioned the word . They were not happy with that word, and both were immediately on board with my request for their eradication. I told them we should wait until I called another friend. Since a party of 4 is my preferred party size.

We waited until I drew a new card, charged it, and drew with two new hand cards and no cursed card in hand. I felt good and summoned another monster. This one is a male to balance out the genders. I don't mind being the only guy in a party. I would get distracted by all of the curves, and I do not want that to happen to me.

I grabbed a monster card and shouted his name, Rust Blade User, and then he manifested after the card disappeared from my hand. The monster is a thin rouge adventurer. He is equipped with multiple blades. From the looks of it, his name is fitting. He has a lot of rusty blades or what I assume to be rusty. The handguards of his swords are rusty.

Mana 2/10 -> Mana 1/10

He kept to himself, as he did not talk much. I asked him why he was so quiet, and he showed me a mark on his throat. Lucky monster, if you ask me. He is still able to exist, even with a big scar on his throat. I gave him a hand sign to let him know I understood his situation. We, as a team, are now ready to fight goblins.

A few minutes passed, and some goblins were slain. Three more were killed by me. A few were killed by Layla, Jael, and the monster who I shall call Rust. I know his full name, but that title is too much to remember. To keep it easy on my mind, I call him Rust. I wish I could kill the demonic beasts, but I got tired of fighting and let them take over.

With 6 goblins killed by me, fitting the requirement of the cursed system's quest, I have a long way to go to finish. I am now sitting down as I am tired. My body is not used to my new strength stat. My body can't keep up with the strength my body possesses. Tomorrow, I shall drink the stamina 1k stat-raising potion. To allow my body enough stamina for my strength.

"You shouldn't sit on a fallen log. It would be best if you sat on my thighs," teased the cute Jael. I like the attention, but my body does not appreciate my denial of such actions.

"Thank Jael, but we have no time to flirt around," I said with a slight frown. To be honest with myself, I want to flirt with her more.

"I get you need to kill the goblins, but how are you going to kill over a thousand?" Layla asked as she leaned her back on a nearby tree.

"That is a good question. For now, I need to build up my stamina. Or use a drug to increase my stamina." I said, making the party frown. I know drugging is looked down upon, but stat-raising potions are necessary. To be fair, I shouldn't sit here doing nothing. Let's learn more F-ranked skills by taking skill pills. I took one out of the mail tab and swallowed it.

Stamina Healing F - As long as you are sitting down. Your stamina stat slowly gets restored.

Hmph, what a convenient skill to have. This is an excellent thing to have. It would be better if it said I could restore stamina in more ways than just sitting down. Still, right now, it is valid, for what I am currently doing is sitting down. This is one of the few times I have actually benefited from this skill immediately.
