Chapter 50: More Comrades

"We will go in like last time, but I will summon more comrades so we each have a partner during the raid. I also have a trump card that will help with the destruction of the fort." I explained.

Each one of them had their own questions that were easy to answer. What was hard to answer was this specific question from the girl, who is usually reserved. She is so reserved that she has not spoken more than 10 words in the past two weeks. Shiroi asked, "So, how do you plan to destroy the fort?"

It is going to be hard to explain that I will summon a vile deep sea creature as a way to bombard the fort. So, I will somehow skip the question. "There will be an explosive display! Now get ready because more comrades will be summoned soon." I said after mostly dodging the question. Now, it is time to summon monsters.

I looked at my hand cards to see a specific card. That card allows me to draw cards from its effect. It is a generic card, so I can see this in any world I choose. Thankfully, it is in my hand. This card will allow me to have a new total of 8 cards in my hand after its effect goes off. I will have to use a couple of cards before I can draw another one.

In some weird way, I am not allowed to have more than 7 cards in my hand. I can have more than 8 cards from an effect, but the deck won't let me draw and charge and draw. That is why I must use some cards before I can draw and charge and draw. I cast the spell card by saying its name, Far Beyond Greed. Then, I pulled 4 cards from the top of the deck, totaling 8 hand cards.

Finally, there are some new faces and cards I haven't seen before. 2 Monsters and 2 new spell cards. A cultivator warrior? Would a cultivator be counted as a warrior? I thought most of them would never call themselves a warrior or anything. Well, regardless, that effect is good.

I need to use this monster when I have a weapon related to cultivation in its name. I can get something called a blank skill. If this is what I think it is, then I would be glad to equip myself with the one cultivator item I have. Some monsters require skills in exchange for their summon. If I can sacrifice a skill that won't negatively affect me. Then, I will surely sacrifice a useless skill.

I equipped the item card called The Blade of Cultivators. The card disappeared from my hand, and the blade manifested a physical form. I then grabbed a new monster and called out its name. Cultivator of Spirit, Kazuko manifested in front of me.

Mana 9/10 -> Mana 8/10

"My name is Kazuko! I am here to serve both you and myself." Kazuko said, introducing himself.
