After introductions, I announced we would talk on the way there. So we left and started to walk. Kazuto talked and talked. He is very talkative and didn't let me talk much. He was interesting in a way, so I wasn't offended that I couldn't speak often. What interested me the most was when he was ranting about the card caster's skill.
The skill is cursed. Or so Kazuto says as he talks about his previous owner. His last owner was a person who desperately wanted to get his job done even though he did not wish for another's goal to be completed. He had a great work ethic to complete the things he had to do. I asked what was the thing that had to be done. Kazuto has been tip-toeing around the actual goal of the previous master.
Of course, Kazuto did not answer and decided to rant on. At the same time, we marched there and listened to Kazuto's rants. I summoned a few monsters. The first is the monster named Man Of Great Evil, VasFumudal. He costs 2 Mana, and at the time, I had my mana to the full capacity. Meaning after two mana, I had 8 mana left.
I used his skill to summon a skeleton with a funny name. There was another monster that I never saw before. I summoned the monster without thought and it was a mistake. I saw a small knight who was very weak. I assume she will get more strength later by evolving or something like that. Her name is Small Knight Avelia.
We arrived at the demonic beast fort. I say arrived, but we are a bit far from them to get set up for the raid. I am able to draw and charge one card and draw again before we fight. I wanted to do that because I am now topped up on mana. I was expecting a card that was a monster. What appeared before me was a scary-looking card. A card that, to put in words, scares the hell out of me.
A card that looks like it bears a flag of some sort. This card is not a monster, spell, or item card. It is a card that seems to be creepy. It has five monsters that look ghastly in the formation of a star. It seems like it is forming a face as well.
Rebellious World! A world where monsters are beyond the rules and laws of commonality. Not just monsters, but the whole world is formed on endless vanity, greed, and atrocious hunger for power. This card's flavor text says. So it is a world. Why am I able to read the text? The text looks like cuts and scribbles.
"Hey, bird brain!" Said a rude girl named Layla.
"Now that is just too mean, Layla." A beauty named Jael said.
"Look at him—reading cards like a fool lost in confusion. Can monsters, spells, or items really be that complicated?" Layla said, raising her voice slightly. Not loud enough to let their presence be known.
"Will the foolish, tall people stop insulting our leader? While I hate to be commanded by a male, we are bound to do what our leader desires." The girl named Avelia said. In a way, she did insult me or at least my small amount of pride.
"Enough, enough, please. I am not nervous, Layla. I assume you are trying to comfort me in a way think I was nervous. I saw another corrupted card. I was reading it to see its functions." I said to the group.
My sentences pissed off Layla, and she started to rant and wave her arms. She was making quite a lot of noise. There was so much noise we got caught with our hands in our pockets. Kanazawa and Kazuto told us to retreat, but everyone else was ready to charge through the front gates.
Since today gave me a new card to get lost in, I might as well use it. This new card will be used as my explosive way to destroy the fort.
