I woke up because I was embraced. Whoever the person that hugged me woke me right up. I think I am now in a chair and looked down to see a person with white hair embracing me. The person is short and has a tail. I will assume that it is Luna. No other girl except for Mariella would fit that description.
"Why were you gone for two weeks? Do you know how many people were worried!" Luna said as she tried to hold back her screams. Two weeks without proper notice was bad. I had to finish the quest, especially for the wisdom stat. I need more wisdom because I feel like there is a chance someone is watching my progress. They would be mad at how dumb I am and might actually get pissed off because of it.
I cannot tell Luna that and will have to come up with a convincing lie. Maybe tell a half-truth of some sort. I would never really be able to lie completely to a girl I love. Let's see what I can say.
"We escaped the harsh life in the city to make love in our own little village," Jael said, hugging herself and making a lewd expression.
"Huh!?" Luna said as she turned her head to look at Jael. She started to cry harder and hugged me tighter. Jael really made things worse.
"You really did cheat on me! After I worked so diligently waiting for your return!" Luna said, screaming through her cries.
"Me and Jael did no such thing! Stop lying to her and tell her the truth." I yelled a command to Jael.
"You really love your master a lot. Enough to make women your enemy, huh? You remember that he can edit you from his deck if he so desires." Layla said, annoyed at something.
Jael's face got pale, and she apologized for lying and remained quiet. Luna wiped her tears and snot away on my shirt and composed herself. I won't lie, girls, tears I can handle. Snot is a little nasty, even for me. When she was composed she spoke up with a dangerous question.
"Sephker, who are these girls?" Luna said with a very pouty face. These are the questions I was hoping not to hear. I have to explain my card caster skill to get out of this situation. Oh wait, it hasn't been a new day. So I will quickly draw a card! What the hell is this? This card is human. A human card in Rebellious World?
"Using A skill won't allow you to get out of this situation, buddy," Luna said angrily.
"These are monsters. Beings I summon when I need an extra hand. They happen to be mostly girls. I summon guys when I can. I feel more comfortable." I said to Luna without thinking about the consequences of my words.
"So you are forced to summon girls to help you out? If you need a girl to help, call me! I have many days of vacation and, including sick days! I am small, but I am still an adventuerer!" Luna said, knocking me to the ground. I let out a small, painful screech.
Luna was lifted from me by Jael. She grabbed her like an adult animal person would pick up her kid. Instead of grabbing the back of the neck, she was picked up by her dress. Luna swung around to look at Jael with scornful eyes. Jael's eyes were showing flowers and hearts.
"So that is the animal persons sent that was on you. Look at me. Aren't I an upgraded version of her?" Jael said bluntly to both me and Luna.
"You bitch, let me go so I can knock you out!" Luna said aggressively. I haven't heard her curse before. If I did, I don't remember. That was pretty hot for Luna. She always seemed to be the high society type of girl. So, hearing her say something vulgar was something I thought I would never hear.
"Oh my, this little midget has quite a mouth," Jael said with those same eyes. Layla smacked Jael's hand, causing her to drop Luna. Luna fell face-first to the ground, and I heard a small grunt from her.
"You know if this girl is a girlfriend or wife of some sort. She would have some power over you. I suggest being careful, Jael." Layla said with a slightly evil smile.
There was a little bit more banter going about, but everyone calmed down. With everyone calmed down, I finally explained my situation to Luna—the reason why I was gone for two weeks. With every word I spoke the more nervous she became.
"So you were experiencing a different front from the rest of us," Luna said, slamming her fist into her hand.
