Chapter 60: Luna And Jael Don’t Work Well
"There is something important to talk about now that you have information about your family," Luna said with a slight frown. She then proceeded to point a finger at Jael.
"This rude girl needs to go! How dare she talk down to her master's wife!?" Luna said loudly and proudly. It looks like she still won't give up on thinking we are a thing when we haven't had a wedding.
"Wait, this flat-chested girl is your wife." A puzzled look came across Jael's face as she asked. Pointing out a girl's body is a low blow, even for other women.
You could notice a big vein pop out from Luna's forehead. "Yeah, I am, you slut!" Luna said that, and Jael got noticeably mad.
"Then why did he never say anything while we were," Jael said as I had to cut her off.
"For survival, we had to cuddle. It got cold, some knights. Also, me and I aren't married. She is pushing for it, but I am rejecting it because of my strength." I said to everyone in the room to calm them down.
"Strength has nothing to do with getting married. I will honor my master's wives no matter the scale it may be." Kazuto said while doing a cultivator bow.
"That's not the problem, and right now, we should focus on the problem!" I shouted to get the attention of everybody.
"And, that would be?" Layla said with a slightly annoyed look.
"We are at war. We need to get to the bottom of it!" I said proudly.
"That's after you rest, fool! Don't you know that you have gained too many stat points? Sheesh, you were asleep for a while." Layla said, annoyed.
"Too many points? Sephker, I demand to see your status board." Luna said angrily.
Oh great, I opened my status board and showed Luna. To no one's surprise, she was surprised to see all the new stat points and the new skills. She even noticed a new skill of mine that would cause most people to stumble upon seeing one.
"You have pluses on your status board and a cursed skill?" Luna said.
After she looked at the status board, it disappeared, and she said rest is my best choice. We left the area which was a meeting room for Decomian Soldiers. We headed to my dad's mansion and arrived pretty quickly.
Finally, a bed I can rest on. I could have bought one with all my sin points, but who wants to waste any type of currency? Is it that I am tired from a long trip, or is my body unable to adjust to my new strength?
Regardless, a bed would be nice to lay on. A bed will help me think through something. I drew another card along the way, and another new card appeared.
The card is called Mariette, The Blue Hair Manipulator. She has the skill to manipulate people and have a chance to copy their skills. This card scares me. The targets become brain-dead, so even if I allow them to live. They become a burden on people.

Effect: Marionette - Is able to control up to three enemies at once. They become puppets once controlled and will forever be brain-dead.
By paying 3 Mana, you can activate Mariette's unique skill. This allows you to gain 5 random skills, which are typically cursed. However, remember that you can only activate this effect once for every 'Mariette The Blue Hair Manipulator' card on the field.
If this skill is used when an enemy is being controlled, you will have a higher chance of getting a copy of their skill.
That is the full description of the card. This world that I am using currently, makes me stressed in a way. Killing someone or something is one thing. It is another thing to make someone a burden on someone else. It is also another thing when the people who burden others cannot do anything to help the burden.
I am sure I am just tired. I will think about deep crap tomorrow. I have better things to worry about. The better thing to think about is a war with demonic beasts. I went straight up the stairs and plopped in my bed. Luna followed behind and was in my room. I looked at her, and on her face, she had a nervous look and was bright red.
