Chapter 67: Fighting An Onslaught

(So 2 weeks passed by while I was editing and making stories.)

"Mariette, target whoever you think is high in command and make them your puppets, please!" I said, yelling while using my blade to hold off some enemies.

"What a cute master asking his monsters for things," Mariette said while activating her skill. Good, it is time for me to summon more monsters. I grabbed a monster called Fulbushki SkullFace's name and watched it manifest. I was not expecting this skill to be so strong once summoned.

When this card was summoned, all the goblin knights, skeleton weapons, and a few other miscellaneous monster items just broke. They were destroyed instantly with a weird effect. The break looked like blood, but the effect was actually red cards falling and fading.

Now, our enemies, once formidable goblin knights and skeleton weapons, are reduced to mere monsters. These humanoid types of demonic beasts, much like humans, are now weak and weaponless, unlike their other demonic counterparts, who rely on raw power. It seems like this will be less of a headache than I originally thought.

Even Avelia is having an easier time battling these humanoid-type demonic beasts. I have a feeling that I can draw again! It is time to strengthen our numbers again. I drew a card, charged it into the mana, and drew another card. This card is new. I have yet to see a card like this.

A jackass made this card. That or this man was so corrupted he became a monster in the Rebellious World. The card's name is Vile Communist Chunhuo. It still allows me to buy the skills it steals once it destroys the enemy. It will either cost me card-casting mana or sin points when it appears in my curse system's shop.

I just need the extra punching bag, so I guess I will summon him. I grabbed the card called Vile Communist Chunhuo and shouted his name. I then saw the card disappear and then saw the monster manifest in front of me.

"With communism, all will thrive," Chunhuo said with a fake smile. Great, I hope he doesn't steal too many skills. I would hate to buy bad skills for a high price. The battle continued for another 9 minutes. At the end of the fight, there were three high-ranking demonic beasts left. They were standing there awaiting commands from Mariette. Surprisingly, the monster named Snarled Devil Kalakaki was still around and killed one of Mariette's puppets.

Kalakaki's skill would have been beneficial to me if it wasn't for high-ranked demonic beasts that were killed. Thankfully, the Snarled Devil Kalakaki disappeared due to its effect. What is bad about it is that the demonic beast was a White Wolf Leader. White Wolf Leaders are a C-ranked demonic beast.

I gained an enormous amount of stat points to all my stats. Thankfully, I am not in danger, unlike last time. It still is a lot for one person to get within one day's worth of time. I also forgot that since I am using Rebellious World, my stats aren't added up, and the stats need to be added together manually.

I have to use brain power and figure out the total myself. For now, I will rest and let everyone know that I need a break. When I said what had happened to me, my monsters all understood and accepted my request for a break.

Chunhuo came up to me, acting all jolly. He tried convincing me to buy some low-ranked skills for a high amount of mana. I am currently at 7/10 on mana. He offered me a low F-ranked skill for 9/10 of my card-casting mana. What a vile person to be around. Isn't he supposed to be happy with sharing the spoils of war?

I have to be wary of humans from the Rebellious World. Well, thankfully, I will have new skills to purchase at the end of the day. Look at all these pluses. I counted 12 stat numbers I had to add up.
