Chapter 71: Fu Xien Saving Task Force

"Listen Sephker I have good and bad news. The good news is that I found out where Fu Xien is located. The bad news is…" Luna said while pausing, refusing to finish her sentence. 

That is great news! We know where Fu Xien is located. We need to make prepeartions to go there right away. Wait, what about the war effort? I just cannot leave my family again. No, the first thing is to find out why Luna did not finish her sentence. 

"Luna, please finish your statement. I know it may be hard to do, but please do it." I said to Luna directly to her face, not breaking eye contact.

Luna looked away in embarrassment and mumbled some words out. "Fu...Cul...bandits." 

I grabbed her head, spun it towards my face, and brought my right ear closer to her mouth. She needs to stop mumbling. I cannot understand her when she mumbles. 

"WHY ARE YOU SO SERIOUS ABOUT A WOMAN WHEN YOU HAVE TO BEAUTIES NEXT TO YOU!" Luna said loudly in my ear. "AHHHH!" I yelled in frustration, like a stumbling thief in the night downstairs. That loud noise scared the hell out of me!

"Why did you have to yell in my ear!" I yelled back at her with my head down on the ground. I also covered my ears, knowing the pain was already caused. Just by instinct, I covered my ears to ease the mental pain.

"It is all your fault. You decided to spin my head around like they do in kissing romance novels. Then, you put your ear so close to my mouth. Did you want to hear me breathing pervert!" Said Luna as she yelled near the end of her thought. 

"No, you were mumbling over your words. Ouch, my head still hurts." The ringing just won't stop. It hurts a lot more than I can bear. I will have to sit down and recover." 

"How can you handle literal loud shouts from me and not handle a lady's voice?" The Type 56 said. Ignoring that, I heard Luna speaking to me again.

"Fu Xien is safe for now. She is in a whole new place you have, nor I, and I assume Rita never explored." Luna said with a pouty face.

We haven't been there before? That must mean something like outside the nation's mainland borders. What are we supposed to do about that? Decomia has conquered all of the mainland it was originally formed in. Where is she exactly, and how far away is Fu Xien? It has to be really, really far away. 

If it took Luna this long to figure anything out then she must be in hiding or something like that. No, Fu Xien wouldn't be hiding. She would be kept hidden. People who hide on their own free will never come into contact with anyone. Since coming into contact will eventually lead back to your old life. 

"So, I get that it is outside this land's borders. The question is, where exactly is she?" I asked Luna.

She took a moment and looked around the area. She then gave a smile similar to Mariella's. "The Land of Cultivators. The Princess of Cultivators was smuggled back to her home." Luna said, still smiling. 

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT!" I got to my knees and shouted to the sky. Was she a princess? I thought she was some vagrant from a foreign land! Didn't she say she was born here!? Did, did she lie to me!?
