Lynx surrounding was of something he had never seen the before, but he would have to comprehend everything later as he was parkouring for his life. Lynx did his best jumping and dodging things that went his way with best of his ability. He was already agile and good at such things since he was grown on the surface where surviving was the luckiest thing one could hope for. Due to Lynx lacking core power since birth he had no other choice but to train such a frail body. Death was something Lynx was familiar with, but despite that he would always find a solution to overcome circumstances. Even though Lynx was used to deflecting hits and parkouring his current situation proved as a struggle as everything was super fast, he only managed to dodge at the last seconds and each time he felt his heart stop or jumped to his throat.
As Lynx jumped over a passing object no sooner than that a pole was coming his way, he lost the ability to think, but his body reacted as he used one of his leg and pushed on another surface that was in range and did a full flick, as his body was turning mind air the pole zipped pass beneath his face. Lynx body was going into a landing position and as his feet landed on a cube like object it zipped to the Robot. The cube was going at a very high speed, so fast that Lynx had to kneel down and bury his face within his hands and closed his eyes, even though the cube was going at a tremendous speed he wasn't falling off and neither was he colliding into anything. Everything then felt still and Lynx slowly peered his eyes open and he was in a closed space and that was another puzzle piece thrown at him. Before Lynx could adjust to anything something else was thrown at him, a bright light appeared above and out came a sphere that was 30cm in height and width and it hovered right before Lynx's eyes. He looked at the sphere as if he was studying it and as he reached out to touch it its eyes appeared and flashed open and Lynx instinctively pulled his hand away.
"Find the core" a robotic voice spoke from the sphere before Lynx.
Before Lynx's mind could process a response robots appeared behind him and each passing second there numbers grew. Lynx was slightly unaware of his situation, but then one of the 6ft robots took a swing at Lynx and was slapped across the floor, he lifted his head as he stood to his feet and tried to register what was happening. As he stood up the sphere appeared next to him and spoke
"Run"
Whether the word run was for Lynx or the robots, the robots took it as a signal as the waved towards Lynx, he didn't know where he was going, but he knew he needed to keep running. As Lynx was running the sphere was beside him explaining along the way
"You're now in the foot of the hibernating Bond which is the beginning level, your objective is to find the Core of the Bond that will complete your mission. Everything happening is real and dying means dying. The entire Hibernating Bond's body is like a parkour of sort, you're to find the Core and touch it and everything will be fine, as you know all Cores are located at the center left of the chest speaking robot wise. As of now your current location is the right toe"
After a few minute of running for his life Lynx passed through a door like space and then everything beyond the door vanished into nothingness. The only thing Lynx saw was the floating objects from before. He wanted to ask questions, but then a loud 'beep' pierced the air and Lynx covered his ears from the sudden sound. A time box descended down and a time was shown.
[15:00]
Robots started appearing just like before and this time Lynx knew he couldn't just run he needed to fight as there was no way to escape. Lynx could only take a second to process and observe his surrounding and he realized there was no way but to fight. Lynx clenched his fist as stood ready to defeat the obstacles that posed as a problem to his goal. After taking a swift inhale and exhale Lynx leaped from the ground and started throwing punches and kicks one after another. The enemy had a great number, but Lynx wouldn't let such things waver him. Lynx was ripping off their heads and other limbs as he stood his ground, as the fight escalated to a point were Lynx was on the offensive and moving so fast it only looked like his enemies were just standing. As Lynx was in the moment of fast movement his hands got covered in armor and when he punched one of the robots it crashed into the end of the wall and only a clear path remained. Lynx looked at his hands for a moment and felt light hearted as he accomplished something, he wasn't sure how, but he did it somehow. Seven minutes had pass and Lynx wasn't aware of the opening that opened up and only realized a minute later. The timer was still on a countdown and Lynx was still fighting the Robots, he then ran straight for the opening, but this time everything wasn't vanishing away.
With fast thinking Lynx immediately started to parkour upwards and iron, blade rods spiked from the walls and Lynx dodged them to the best of his abilities. He raced up the parkour trial as the robots were still behind him.
'Beep'
A beep sound weight loudly through the air and Lynx had a miss step as he covered his ears, the noise only lasted for three seconds, but even with that short time span Lynx felt his ears bleed, but luckily he was moving fast earlier so the robots weren't very close. Lynx brushed away the feeling and was ready to move again and that's when he sensed something strange, as if the air was thin and something was lurking, something dangerous. Lynx had gotten use to the no time to think rule as he added haste to pace. It didn't take long as Lynx started moving faster the vanishing was moving even faster. Lynx looked down and saw the speed of everything turning to nothingness and so he moved even faster, if dodging sharp blades weren't enough he was to move faster if he wanted his body in one piece. Lynx parkour upwards as he had multiple close encounters with death, the blades made light slashes against his skin as he was doing his best to avoid them. Everything seemed to be vanishing at a faster rate and Lynx pushed his body to move even faster, he jumped from one of the blocks unto a pole, but as he swung his body and was about to land footing, one of the blades then spiked from the wall and into Lynx's foot, he pulled it out as he tried not to scream.
Even though he only stopped for a few seconds the vanishing was only grabbing him by a heel. He jumped up and started moving despite the pain and reached the checkpoint. The vanishing abruptly stopped and Lynx only managed to take a short breather, he pulled the blade from his foot as the pain shot tears from the corner of his eyes.
"Knee calve" a robotic voice sounded a he reached the checkpoint
He swayed as he stood up and was ready for what yet to come, just like before an echoing sound pierced the air and he covered his ear as tight as he could. A timer then appeared again with twenty minutes and started ticking away. Lynx didn't waste a second and started parkouring, the pain was truly painful, but he knew he had to bear it for some time. Because he was already in pain he couldn't move as fast, but time waited for no man. As Lynx did his best and fought against his will not to give up time pasted, he didn't realize it but the time had hit zero. He felt a familiar sensation and looked beneath him and knew what was coming, he added haste to his movement and then something started shooting from the walls. He dodged them as he ignored the pain in his foot, but with his injury it pose as a threat to his life. One of the objects then blazed pass his shoulder and dropped to the surface he was standing on with a fiery feeling from his wound. The vanishing was catching up to him and Lynx knew that if it did he wound be erased as if he never existed, but he couldn't afford to die or not yet at least so he stood up and started moving again with the reason to live. As he was parkouring upwards another rod zipped pass his face and the feeling felt much more painful, but Lynx clutched his eyes as tears formed in the corner of his eyes from the pain.
He had a miss step and started falling as he was on his way to be enveloped by the void, but he wouldn't give up, he used his right leg and pushed on one of the blocks and faced himself upwards. With quick thinking Lynx came up with a plan to reach the checkpoint, one of the burning rods then shot out from the wall and using his fast way of thinking and movement Lynx stepped on it as it was shooting pass him and boosted himself upwards and then another rod shot out at him from head level and he used his hands grabbing it and flung himself upwards and same time as his body was coming to a stop he used his left leg and pushed on one of the blocks. He felt immense pain as he applied pressure to his injured leg, he then boosted himself and reached the checkpoint a second before everything vanished into nothingness. Everything that happened was on pure luck, he didn't analyze the shooting of the blades or anything, the only thing that brought him victory was hope as with each movement he hoped that everything would come into play. Lynx collapsed to the floor with his heart pounding, burnt marks on his face and shoulder and even his hands were badly burnt, so burnt that he couldn't clutch them. Lynx just let his body laid on the floor and closed his eyes as the thoughts of giving up resurfaced.
"Lynx" someone shouted as a young joyous scream was heard in a distance
"Everyone Lynx is here" another shouted out
Lynx sat up as a bunch of children swarmed him with their chattering, his head felt foggy and his ears were ringing so he wasn't aware who the people were. He slowly opened his eyes as a bright light dazzled his vision and he could feel someone poking him. He slowly opened his eyes and the scenery came into view and he could hear the sounds clearly.
"Lynx, Lynx" voice called out to him while poking him.
"You hearing?"
"Hey, hey"
Lynx's heart weighted on him as he recognized the voices and faces. He hugged the little girl before him and also pulled the little boy who was close by into a hug, Lynx's heart burst with emotions as he cried while holding them tightly.
"Too tight" the children said through there giggles as they hugged him in return.
When he had enough he slowly released them and met the gazes of the others,
"You're all ok" Lynx stuttered with a quavering voice.
